Its not Russell that went back to Adelaide - It was Gibbs

:( I'm sorry I caused so much commotion. I really am, but what I conveyed was from a source that I really thought was reliable - a relative.

I am glad I am wrong, because I like Jordan and I really want him to do well.

Accept this post as an unconditional apology, an absolute unconditional apology, but I really thought it to be true and from a good source. I suppose you don't really know unless you get it from the horse's mouth, and I didn't.

This will be my last rumour.

Maybe you should egg your relatives car :) it's part of the culture at carlton now :)

No it was Hartlett, he said he's fed up with Pagan having played him in the backline for his WHOLE AFL career when he's a natural forward.

On a serious note i reckon Tim Boyle at the Hawks is a good example of a kid really coming on after he'd spent quite a while on Hawthorn's list. Turned 23 at the start of the year and had only played 5 games leading into it, he's played every game so far and has been very important to their forward stucture with 2 goals and 5 marks a game and getting better.

Not saying that Russel will follow this exactly but dont forget he's still only 20 and although he's not a KPP he's quite a tall midfielder and would probably take longer than say a Murphy or a Lewis to mature.

So much hysteria.
So little time.
JR has his own life and future to consider.
It should be obvious to all that players are mere commodities, and can be traded or delisted at a clubs whim.
If the boy(JR) ever decided to make a career decision to benefit himself I wish him(or any AFL listed player) all the best.
Fickleness of supporters is universal, why consider them?
