It would be a bit annoying for the players to get dragged only to have the coach say "I love you" on the other end of the phone.

everyone knows we need a new coach
not all is pagans fault he inherited the worst list in AFL history, he simply didn't have the players to play his brand of football. ..he'll do really well at geelong where the players have mature bodies and have put in many pre seasons.
don't know who the next coach will be, i think we need to take a gamble it has payed off for west coast with woosha..i think someone like mark harvey could be very good.

Winnie he has gone through 70 odd + players since he has arrived . the list at the moment is not that bad - it lacks a bit of depth but that is only because his reluctance to play youth and get games in to youth.

Pagans has coached 95 games at Carlton next week he passes Big Nick in games coached

His record read 23 wins - 23 ten goal plus floggings

If you were a betting man winnie what would you have your money on
Pagan coaching his 25 th win or Pagan copping his 25th 10 Goal flogging - What will be acheived first.
I reckon there is a chance he get his 25th 10 goal flogging before he has coached his 100th

carlton has had a coca cola premiership squad playing against premier league squads. no doubt the squad is in better shape now than it was three years ago.
but that's because of youth, they havent matured yet.
all these losses have sent a sense of staleness in the playing group and a breath of fresh air with new ideas is the order of the day.
the young guys will appreciate it.
