How much more development (read "60 point floggings") do we need?

And true, we must face up to life without Kouta. But gradually would be better!

We have to have the courage to be fair dinkum about rebuilding/development.

Get those games into the kids and get them the experience that they need!!!!

If Kouta and Stevens were 100% fit this year for the entire season then the Blues would have played finals this year.

Although obviously he is not the future Kouta is a loss. As someone else said he would be very handy to come on and off the bench a bit like Peter Riccardi was towards the end of his career at Geelong. Kouta at least is a big body who can go into the middle and win us some clearances or even be used as an alternative forward target. He won't dominate the game anymore but I think he can be something of an 'impact' player when he returns from injury.

Kouta was instrumental in the NAB Cup when we were behind in those few games to help get us get back in front. When he started playing well so did the entire side.

You can never under estimate experience especially in a young side like ours.

Agree and opposition coaches will not be able to ignore him either. Even in the worst case scenario he will take some pressure off the young guys and take a decent opponent.
