Saw kouta on the news tonight, signing autographs and talking about Swann.

Looked fine to me and no mention of a sore finger.

besides, even if he did have a sore finger, it wouldn't stop him playing.... he is from the old school 'pop it into place' and play.

$^&* SAKE THIS SUCKS!

I just wanted to make the most of Kouta this year being his last. Such bad news.

Looking on the positive side though ...

Kouta comes back in after the first hectic month of footy has passed - much like Whitnall comes into the game more in the 2nd half due to the pace slowing down a bit (see NAB Cup final).

I'd like to think that after a month of footy, Kouta's opposition will be feeling the bumps and bruises of some seriously hard played footy and he'll be a big, strong, injury free body ready to do some damage.

Also means Bentick gets to put some more miles in his legs and a possible return for Blackwell.

That's a shittily written post but you get my drift.

it would be good if these things were confirmed on our website in the 'injuries' section of the site.

One door closes and another opens.

Who will replace him?

Bower's my preference.

Maybe this will give Wiggo a leg up into the first 22. He will at least show a bit of grunt against those young Tigers.

Hartlett? Blackwell? Saddington?

Whoever! I Can't wait for round 1! Get ready to rumble.

Bad luck Kouta. Look forward to your return!

Is this confirmed my understanding it was a surprise to Pagan?

What sort of finger injury is 4-6? :?:

Blackwell would be an obvious replacement due to his form and the fact that he would slot into the midfield rotation role left vacant by Kouta's injury.

Id like to see Edwards get a run.

Apparently he has mastered "The Kouta one-handed ball pickup and baulk." 8)
