I must confess I've just read Deano's post for the first time....emotional; honest....soulbearing and most of all passionate about the Club we all love.

Beautifully written............all credit to you; and well done.

Not only did you did you bring a tear to my eye Deano, but you got me to post something here as well ! (habitual lurker)

A magnificent read....and deserves more than just being appreciated by those of us that log onto TC.

With todays elections now confirmed, every board member should read this......this is what it means to have passion, belief and strength of character.

This is why our game and our club are so great, because for so many people, no matter what life throws at you, it IS the one constant in our lives.

I hadn't read this thread before......the main board hasn't held much attraction for me lately with so much negativity...

This is, without doubt, the best post you've ever written. Well, except for the one about it all being about horses....

I had tears in my eyes reading through that, big fella.

More strength to you, mate, and I hope some of that is given to you by your Blue Brothers and Sisters here and beyond.

As most have already written, that was a great post Deano.

To paraphrase a quote: "Following Carlton isn't a matter of life or death; it's far more important than that."
