I for one have just about had a gutful of my beloved CFC and I am not talking about the onfield performance.

I am sick of the Carlton board treating its members like crap and I am astounded that the board can lurch from one crisis tio the next causing endless embaressment to its members and yet they still dont acknowledge their short comings.

The whole election process is flawed and rather than admit mistakes have been made and perhaps trying to rectify the problem the board led by Mr incompetant himslef (G Smorgon) and the muppet (Michael Malouf) inform us that all is above board and there are no probs with the election process. The mere fact that over half the members I have spoken to who have voted in the past are now informed that they are no longer registered as voting members tells me that all is not right. (also a large majority of voting members have not received their ballot forms)

The board should defer the vote for 2 weeks to enable all those who want to vote the opportunity. An email should be sent out clearly explaining the process. BUT no this would be to logical lets just stick with the pathetic process we have in place at the moment.

Furthermore what happens to those votes that include Mr Rose? surely they should be ruled void and people can re-vote but you guessed i that would be to logical for this group of clowns - lets just pretend there is no flaw and maybe it will go away.

I encourage all memebers to email the club and express your displeasure, in fact If you actually send the club a letter adressed to Smorgon it may be even more effective - Opening a thousand letters from sisatisfied members must have some effect. (the amnesty international approach)

I have written my letter and will mail it tomorow.

I am sick of MY club happily taking my cash yet treating me like crap! I am sick of being scared to open the paper because I am worried about how my board is going to humiliate this once greta club again.

(This is in no way aimed at the playing group.)

We have tasted a few years of embarassment .. but nothing has beaten the embarassment that we have copped under Smorgon.
It just keeps on keeping on.. nothing will change under till he is gone!!

Finally received my voting papers when i got home last night.
postmarked 31st jan... (Was previously told they were sent out last Thursday 25th and then on Monday 29th)
Didn't one of the tickets raise questions about faxed voting forms, their vulnerability to manipulation & the motives behind Unity promoting the fax number?
If this is a legitimate concern, a cynic might question why the forms have been held back until Jan 31, leaving fax as the only option for voting, apart from personally going in to the club????

PS. Any views on Richard Newton & Ross Fiore?

I am not sure about the value Fiore adds to the board...

It certainly does smell like shit!

Seriously i know how useless this board is..................but even Smorgan isn't this Dumb.

It stinks of shit and if i were the opposing ticket i would challenge the outcome (which is more than likely going to be a Unity win unfortunatly)
