Incredibly, nikki and I have got us up to all players who've played up to 65 games, which is about 3/4 of all Carlton players. There are of course those who've played more that PatFitztrick has done, so its probably only 20% less. Only problem is I can't be buggered doing any more - its drained the life out of me.

Can I have some volunteers to fix up all those players who've played 62 or more games with the single line talking about the games / goals that have been played?

Yes - by volunteer I mean you bozo.

EDIT - Next off the ranks in the list is Graeme Whitnall at 66 games.

I managed to get a few more done. now finished up to and including the 69 gamers.
Some people may want to add to some more recent players such as Graeme Whitnall, Warren McKenzie and Greg Towns.

nikki, that is just brilliant!

tralby has recently done a really well-balanced and informative piece on Wayne Brittain. http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php? ... e+Brittain

The writing talents of the Carlton supporting community are awesome.

Hopefully, I should have the revamped Locker Room finished tonight.

Getting closer to the site being launched on the Official CFC website. :-D

nikki and I are proud to announce that Project Player Bio is complete.

What does this mean?

It means that every single Blue, ever, at least has some form of commentary about them in the Blueseum. In addition to Project Century, every GAME and every PLAYER now at least has a link somewhere, a story, a name. The Blueseum skeleton is basically complete.

And this is where I end my duties. It's been draining but the Blueseum is now ready to be launched.

The Blueseum now needs all of you - Agro, gerry atric, kingkerna, Blue Vain, dannyboy -all those who rmember the 1980's, 1970's, 1960's, whatever the case may be - the Blueseum needs your memories. All mine are inside.....

Big round of applause for nikki who has helped a great deal to finish off this aspect of the Blueseum.

Thanks molsey but the big round of applause must go to you.
It was a huge effort for you to finish all that I just came in at the end.

Since the holidays have now started, I will try and make sure all players are recognised as being premiership players in their bios. But for now it is goodnight and molsey...we applaude you.

What a big night for the Blueseum!!!

Well done Molsey and nikki.

I've just finished off the new and super-duper version of the locker room.

http://www.blueseum.org/tiki-index.php?page=Locker+Room

More numbers, better pictures, more information (over 4000 pieces of information), every player, every jumper for every senior game.

This will be a great resource for trivia questions. :P

although the skeleton is there ....

There is still a massive amount of work to be done on the Blueseum.

We are getting closer to the point where the site will be GIVEN to the club.

Make no mistake, when the club take ownership of this site it will be a resource for the club that will produce thousands and thousands of dollars of revenue, year in year out for the club. It will put Carlton ahead of every other club in the competition in terms of 'owning' its own history in the internet.

But for the club to reap the greatest benefits it still needs many more volunteers to make the Blueseum the best it can be. Just think how good it will feel to say 'I contributed to the Blueseum' when it is providing much needed memberships, merchandise sales and brand awareness for the club.

The club needs you.

Give the club some time, you will feel great and the club will be helped on the way BACK TO THE TOP!!

There were a few games from 2005 missing info and 1 or 2 with no reviews at all so I've fixed that up.

** takes a bow ** **then yawns and says under his breath, bugger me that was hard work **

Just thought I'd add a switcheroo equivalent to the BZM called Club Crossovers. Only question is, should it track players that played at all Clubs or just those we trade with

eg. Troy Longmuir is a Freo switcheroo. Longmuir also played for Melbourne. Should we bother tracking that?

ps Good work BW too. There were afew games last year I didnt get to watch and was hoping someone could fill those in.

Don't think the Melbourne connection should be mentioned in Club Crossovers. I reckon mentioning that in the player's personal page would be enough.

I hear what you're saying but we will include references to all CLubs. This provides a great advantage for those researching certain players - they will see which Clubs all players the players have played for.

In terms of comprimising the 'crossover' section the Draft section covers all trades so this can be worked out more on a move by move basis.

But the Blueseum is not just a celebration of the Club, but of the players who've worn navy blue. For the sake of history (and 1 maybe 2 more backlinks) the Crossovers should be broader.

EDIT: As a result of this I have changed the references from Crossovers to 'Also at xxxxx' to bring out the multi-club history of any players. THis should remove any confusion as to 'crossing over'

The Blueseum is now Multimedia!!!

Thanks to Keyser Soze, 3KZ's radio commentary of the second half of the 1970 Grand Final is now available to listen to on the Blueseum.

Sends chills down the spine! Great interviews at the end too, the atmosphere in the Carlton rooms sounds electric. :-D :-D

Not sure mate, happy to take advice on it.

I had some concerns myself, but Keyser Soze convinced me. :-D

3KZ does not exist any longer AFAIK.

If anyone is concerned at all though I can remove it straight away.

Not concerned in that situation, but it always pays to be careful.

Absolutely.

Will be a lot more comfortable when the club owns the site. The club itself has a greater right to use a lot its history than a group of individual supporters.

Bad News....

The site has been hacked a lot more than TC has been - may take a while to get it up & running. Shocking timing!

Not really concerned that it is available, great listening  . But just to give you the corporate trail:

3KZ = KZFM = GOLD104.3

I would imagine that they would own all the proprietry material such as that so just take care.
