the game, the year etc, Kouta rehurt his knee? Was it the final? Did their supporters cheer? (or is that just bitter old me?)
Who else got hurt - if anyone?

Other horrid games against the tiges.

HURRY!!!!!

Yes they did!

It was Mathew Knights who was the culprit...

It brings back bad memories and acid flashbacks of Steven Sziller...

I was there and they did cheer, and make smug comments. I was disgusted. That's why I say I feel compassion for Nathan Brown but feel no compassion for the Tigers or their fans. Their loss of Brown just makes me gloat.

Final round of 97 at PP. We needed a win to get into the 8...got done by a point with about 17 fit men left at the siren.

You might want to try www.google.com.au in future. I've heard it craps all over goggle.

I like how you left out that we were 9 goals up at 1/4 time. :?

At 3/4 time Hutchinson "invented" the huddle over to the fans technique.

This was the first game of footy I'd taken mrs camel to that I had realised just how feral she could be!

You mean Knights who led the cheers or who did Kouta's knee?

I'm certain it was Nick Daffy who fell across Kouta's knee.

And there was SOS's 300th against the Tigers at night - another milestone game which ended badly for us.

In fact there were a number of years when the Tigers were out of the finals race when they enjoyed trying to stuff up our finals chances.

IIRC, there was the game in 1999 when we played them in Rd 22 at the MCG at night. It was the year of the scoreboard fire. They beat us to drop us to 6th possie, but then we had the luck of the draw and ended up playing WC at the MCG anyway before going on to pants Essendon*

SOS's 300th was in Rd 11 on 10 June 2001 at the MCG. We lost by 88 to 61.

I think the game at Princes' Park when they got over the top of us in the last quarter was Rd 22 1997 when they beat us by 2 points (91 to 89 points).

When the scoreboard caught fire.

Yes Danny they did cheer - particularly one drunken bald feral who got ejected but managed to sleaze his way back in. Disgraceful

Matthew Knights was the player who fell across Kouta's knee. I remember yelling out before Kouta went in for the pill to not go in with his leg, to go in head first like Knights did. Kouta decided to kick it and with Knights heading down to the ball ended up going across Kouta's leg and his knee collapsed!

I don't really blame Knights because I think Kouta approached the contest incorrectly. But the behaviour of those feral scumbags that day was simply deplorable. All those scumbags that were in and around my vicinity were celebrating. They were carrying on like their side had scored a goal. That is probably the angriest I have ever been at a Carlton game. I was furious and was getting a bit emotional. I remember standing up to a toothless drunk who was literally jumping around, ready to go toe-to-toe. I wanted to smash someone. It was one of those moments at the footy that I will remember clearly for many a year to come.

I felt for Browny last year as it was an absolute horrific injury but in terms of feeling sorry for those ferals, @#$%&! NEVER! And their year headed in the exact direction I thought it would following Brown's injury - NOWHERE! And that's something to celebrate!!!
