Can someone please tell me if the recent sponsor announcements were previously advertisers at Optus Oval?

On FoxFooty News tonight for his on field interview Denis was dutifully positioned so that the Bertocchi signage was in full view of the cameras.

bertochi has sponsored the club for years (mentioned in the release) - in another thread it was suggested that the other sponsors (clothing) were carlton people who had been putting in cash for years (ie not new) - dont know if that is actual fact or speculation/gut feel though

Pagan, when asked how the boys will perform on the weekend, replied "I hope it's a crackling!"

I HATE YOU, YOU STOLE ALL THE GOOD ONES.

Edit: I got one - Carlton '06 brought to you by Bertochi - It's been beefed up. :D

Hopefully with these new sponsors our finances will soon be cured.

This isn't my usual brand of humour...

Let's hope this helps us rack up the wins and bring home the bacon.

Seeing as Pagan is now sponsored by Bertochi, does that mean he will be giving the player a bigger roast at quarter-time ?? If he doesn't, then he's a silly sausage.

Will he be looking to butcher the opposition ?? Only if he has the cattle to work with. I guess it'll all depends on the moo-ves he makes.

It's like my comical weakness or something, must have been a bad experience with lame puns at a young age.

Oh wait, now I remember - my surname is *blank*.

I got a say, now that the new sponsor is on board there is going to be a lot more at steak this weekend.

If we lose, it'll be a huge chop to the ribs.

My uncle is a Blues man, and works at Bertocchi! I might be able to use this to my advantage... He is also mates with Larry Pagan (Denis' brother)... See what I can score out of this deal...

Our CEO said after training today that the Bertocchi sponsorship is of significant additional value to the Club. In fact he was very pleased with the 3 new deals. No numbers of course, but in ths respect he was a happy man. Make of that what you will.

Well done to the club on getting Dom Bagnato last week and Bertocchi yesterday and another two to come in the next week or so. I’m told that John Morris has sealed all the deals. Well done John a long time supporter of the Blues as well as a past sponsor and now sales manager at the blues.
:-D :-D :-D
