It’s obvious that Voss makes a reasonable assistant coach but a senior coach he ain’t and never will be
Face it because of his name and playing record he was a senior coach at AFL level for nearly 10 year

He have wasted nearly half a year
Anyway we move on
He is on 800000 has had a break after “ resigning “
Let’s move on
And get the best coach available
The board and club have [REDACTED] up senior coaching appointments for 25 years
Let’s hope the club gets this one right

Who would you recommend if you were in the drivers seat ( top 3 choices)?

When you say let's move on................are you going to be part of the moving on group or are you going to continue to whip the dead horse all the way to the glue factory and onto the supermarket shelves?

He more or less stated the second half fade-outs came about because they were too focussed on scoreboard protection.

Go well Mr Voss

The problem with most supporters is they can’t handle the negative truth about their club
And when you spell the facts all you get is attacking the man you don’t know what your talking about
Rinse and repeat
The fact is we are clearly the worst run club in the last 25 years
Fact
And the reason
The families who influence football decisions that are out of touch in a football sense and a board of directors that have little football acumen
Fact
There is zero accountability
Those podcast interviews were a complete waste of time
Just a bunch of fluff
Does it concern anyone that the Independent Nominationa Committee that elects board members is made up of the clubs lawyer the clubs accountant and the President
Therefore it ain’t independent
Does it concern anyone that’s board members can be on the board for 12 years and front the members once in February
Of course it doesn’t
Because most supporters really just want the fluff and anyone who attacks the process is ridiculed because they act dumb

I hope that Davies and Wright have the smarts to pick the best coach
They seem to
If it’s Fraser so be it but personally I want a first time coach who understands the modern game and how to improve it into the future
Pay them 400000 put what you save into recruiting mature age recruits who have developed later or have been glossed over by blinkered recruiting
Graham
Enright
Kelly
Skipworth
Whoever
Don’t do what the club did and give Teague the job
That was a sugar hit
And make sure whoever is the senior coach they have the right assistants around them because the senior coach isn’t good at everything
As someone said to me once
It can’t be that hard
Correct but the board have to tick off the decision
And their record in that department is shit
Fact because the sackings prove it
And so does the last 25 years

I've been pretty harsh on you before keogh, but putting the salary cap and the soft cap into one big slushy machine and just spending it all on players is a genius level move for a club who has never had any salary cap issues before. I can't see where this could go wrong.

Another problem with supporters is they are happy if they win any game
Like the comments after we beat Essendon* by a couple of goals last year
A team that has won one game since as has been diabolically bad

It’s like supporters think there in a 1993 time warp
Guess what
Time constantly brings change
5 wins in a row means nothing to me other than the fact winning is better than losing
And that Wilson Ison are getting games instead of 1.4 million Williams and others
Haywood and McKay are playing different roles
Fraser seems to have more footy acumen than Voss
But don’t hand him the job if he wins 10 in a row

I want sustainable success for 5 years not 5 games
In that period if everything goes ok you may be lucky to jag a flag
That’s what footy is in 2026
Did Terry abroad man ever asked Priestley what accountability the board has in the clubs lack of success
No
Subscribers over credibility
The only time a board member seems to be sacked is when their is a scandal
Interesting game tomorrow
WC have a few good ins
And we are expected to win

Would breaching the salary cap again because we are paying veteran players (as yes unidentified) from state leagues with soft cap money be a scandal?

Soooooooooooooo........................I guess that's a 'Hard No' about moving on Keogh?

Must be hard to play golf with only a 1 Wood in the bag. You are a dead set replica of that well known Orange Leader. Every time he speaks all we hear is ......

Biden, Obama, Biden, It was Rigged, Clinton, Drain the Swamp etc. The same old busted trope he has spewed a 1000 times before.

Based on your past 10 years of posting, I don't believe that for one second you want sustainable success. That thought would devastate you and probably keeps you up at night. If you really wanted sustainable success, you might recognise it has to start and build from somewhere. Perhaps 5 wins in a row, just might be, maybe, could be a glimmer of a start.

A 1000 steps starts with the 1st one.

Regards Cazzesman

The Independent Nominations Committee which determines who is on the Board is made up of the Carlton Lawyer, the Carlton Accountant and the Carlton President
The first 2 have been on this committee for a long time
The Board approves football appointments and dismisses
Do you have an opinion about the make up of the Independent Nominations Committee

So you believe people that may have the best interests of the club at heart should not be on the independent nominations committe?

So you prefer someone with allegiance to another club, just not Carlton? Perhaps Collingwood?
