And.....

each of these

Outside Top 10
Saints are 1 game ahead 102%
North are 1 game ahead 97%
Pies are 1.5 games ahead 100%

are a very good chance of losing this week.

I dare to dream of a good percentage booster this weekend

I can see why we're favorites but no game is a gimme in the current comp.

I'm way too troubled by the ghosts of similar Essendon* games past to be getting too ahead

Been a massive week of back slapping for the club, hope they're switched on.

We've added Williams, Derksen and Lord to the squad.

For cover, I suppose? The weather is actually supposed to be okay on Sunday.

Same here...the game after a week of back slapping usually never goes well.

I don't think Lewis will play for Carlton again at AFL level.

I actually don't think he's been terrible when he's played this year but it seems totally plausible that he and Weitering just can't play together.

Now I know Weitering is out, but Derksen did well last outing before being dropped for balance so AFL form beats VFL form at this point.

Happy with Derksen in over Young. Way more upside. Did well vs Port and was unlucky to be dropped last week.

Selection integrity! Glad B Campo isn’t in, you bring him in round 22 when we are mathematically done. Not now. He doesn’t deserve a call up.

No resting players. We have a bye coming up.

Before thinking about percentage, just get the win. This is the classic “getting ahead of ourselves” banana peel game that we excel at losing.

I think we’ll win, but, wouldn’t be surprised if it happens again.

Our confidence levels are up and theirs is flatter than a Night Carters Hat. I'm hoping we will turn up with all out aggression and dare.

Set the tone Pitto. Your opponent is only a 3rd rate Ruck, so feed the hungry hoards at your feet.

Momentum is the new Catch phrase. Let's see plenty of it from the first 'tip off'.

Regards Cazzesman

young isn't bad. and, he's much, much better when he doesn't sit on the ball with time to think about how he's gonna deliver it. this fast style we're playing would be good for him. but the catch is, he has to play the withering role.

so it's very strange he's not in and derksen, who tbh, hasn't show much of anything, and is undersized as a key back, gets the spot

Dean to Caddie? Should be a good match up of the young guns.

there's not that much in life i really, truly care about if im being honest. it is, what it is. and there is nothing or no one i hate. it's not an emotion i ever feel or have ever really felt, certainly not towards another human.

... but jesus bike riding christ in red and black lycra i fkkknnn hate the bombers football club, and every one in it and every one who follows it.

its the only game in the season i really care about the result. i think it was 2012 we beat the shit out of them by like 100 points when no one gave us a chance. it was season after season of piled on misery back then. but we won that game. i was with a mate at the G on that frisky afternoon, he is mad blues too. we were 10 cans and a thick joint at HT deep and he had to physically restrain me from disrobing and storming onto the G and kissing judd on the lips that day.

its quite possible i'm gonna down a bottle of red, consume a joint and nudey run down the street singing the song at FT if we get up tonight.

I stand by that sober. There's a LOT of big jaws at Port.
