The club man.

A month ago I was just about ready to hand in the keys.

Now sitting here with such pride and emotion after a seriously impressive win.

2023 run incoming (I’ve trademarked this lol).

The best part of that win was that we kept coming at them.
Even after missing a few shots at goal, then they kick a couple but we didn’t give up or back down. We came at them even harder!

Believe

Carlton are always good when the pressure is off and nothing to lose.

I am hoping these games start to create belief in themselves.
You can see its not quite there yet particularly when it comes to kicking at goal

There have been plenty of games we should have won because for the most part the football has been good but the finish has been bad.

I think Geelong have become our bitches

Let's enjoy the moment

It's been a long time since we've had such an enjoyable win. I was behind the goals where Crippa kicked that last goal. It was a beautifully weighted kick by McGovern. It was great that we could hang on for the last minute. It was like the 2023 Semi Final. Same end.
I'm looking forward to watching the replay without the stress.
And Scott's presser.
Go Blues!

You know what I loved?

Dare. Risk.

We made some horrible turnovers but we fought hard and we kept on trying. We weren't predictable. We didn't bomb to Harry.

Yes cripps was great. Walsh too.

But games like this are how we keep Cowan from going to Tassie.

How we create a winning culture that Jagga, Harry Dean and Jack Ison get used to.

I love this win tonight. Sugar hit? Call it that if you like but I don't think so.

It's about culture building. In 3 weeks we have buried psychological demons that were overrunning us.

Now we'll prob lose to Essendon*, but I'm enjoying this sugar.

The same Chris Scott who downplayed Geelong being smashed by Carlton a couple of years ago also claimed tonight that he had no idea that they've become our bunnies?

Dude is a penis.

Not long home from the game, just turned on the tv to watch the replay and my blood pressure is returning to normal.
What a win.
So proud of the group. That was one of the best wins I have witnessed by a while. We were all hugging each other when the siren went.
This season has shades of 2023 about it, do we dare to dream?

Just when I thought football was dead to me, the Blues remind me that it can be fun, exciting and pretty damn good. Great win. Love to see it. Go Blue boys

You know what? There was some c&*t from us tonight as well. Shoves, Verbals, bumps and in your face stuff.

We weren't meek. We have been meek for 3 years, bullied and in our shells.

Win or lose we weren't meek tonight

Pros:

Tackling and pressure.
Centre clearances.
Cripps, Hayward, Jagga, Newman, Walsh.
Best game for the year from Weiters and Cerra.
Best game we've seen from Taylor. Some of his defensive pressure was incredible.
I know Cameron kicked 4 goals, but loved the way Cowan played.
Dean, Ison and Wilson continue to excite.
Game turning cameos from Young and Evans.
Had a good run with the umps.

Cons:

Inaccuracy.
Some pretty costly turnovers, especially in the first half.

I was wrong, really thought we were going to come back down to earth with a thud against Geelong. Happy to be wrong

Nice to see Fev celebrating in the crowd
