There is some positive vibes coming our way after these next 5 rounds.
15th hardest draw for the next 5, it should be just in time to get our game together.
Interesting to know we also had the equal 5th hardest draw up until last game.

Quote:
R7: v Fremantle, Optus Stadium
R8: v St Kilda, Marvel Stadium
R9: v Brisbane, Gabba
R10: v Western Bulldogs, Marvel Stadium
R11: v Port Adelaide, Adelaide Oval

Current ladder position: 16th (1-5)
Degree of difficulty OR-R6: 8.8 (equal fifth hardest)
Degree of difficulty R7-11: 8.6 (equal seventh hardest)
Upcoming games against current top 10: 3
Upcoming interstate trips: 3
Degree of difficulty R12-16: 13 (equal 15th hardest)

I had to look him up.
He was a rookie pick #37 and played for us in 2018-19, never got a game in the seniors.
Typical muck journalism trying to cash in on Carlton while we are the headline of the week.

Bondi you forgot, swimming pool fraud and DV from just one bloke.

Not sure where to put this one.
I wonder if we can get ai to teach our players how to kick the football while we are at it.

FMD maybe the AI can work out that we’d be a better team when we can stick a tackle, kick straight and not lose our shit the moment the going gets a little tougher.

The problem with LLMs is that they come with great general training, but they need to be trained to be used in specialised environments like AFL, and everyone knows how good we are at training and developing players....

For a bit of light hearted fun, but maybe there's a deep seated reason for this.

Not bitching about the umpires per se, but I can't help but notice Pittonet has more CB ruck infringements than any other ruckman in the league. It is beyond a joke, and makes me question why? The new rules are not difficult to understand but like a lot of ruck infringements, really difficult to identify in 50-50 disputes. It seems the umpires are guessing or hyper critical.

Can it all be blamed on technique? I see the same infringements not paid to other ruckmen. I wonder if its "Carlton hating" umpire(s) who play the favouritism card. I wish in the ruck contests the umps would just do as Neale Daniher said " play on", and only pay the really obvious interference in the ruck. The ruck infringements annoy every supporter from every team. Enough is enough.

I also find it amazing that the team with the loudest whiniest President, Bassett at St Kilda, has not only influenced the AFL to change the FS bidding, showing his disdain with the advantages the NGA & Academies have, but they have also not lost a free kick count in any home game this season, going a perfect 5-0 in that metric.

Cumulatively, they have had 110 frees awarded, while conceding 81 in their five home matches, for a percentage of 135 per cent. Holy Moly, they have a good run of home games to end the season. They are a team we want to jump if we are to make the Final 10. Its a good thing that despite this bias/ advantage a league-best return for frees in these contests, they have won just two of these five home games.

I go to a lot of Swans game and not surprised the Swans have been awarded 147 free kicks on their home turf this season - the most in the league - with Geelong (113%) closely following on 146 free kicks awarded in home contests. It is really obvious the "boutique stadiums" called home by these clubs, SCG and Kardinia Park, clearly present an advantage ... statistically. Mmmmmm. Suss? Not surprised to see Collingwood hovers so high either, but that's the Eddie influence the umps may fear most.

I guess, if there's something untoward to see from these stats, the AFL knows Carlton fans are rusted on with their loyalty and will keep turning up.

I say "Fair go ump".

Makes me feel good to see Carlton whilst not favoured by the umpires, have adapted in the last month, to adapt and win against these odds.

While I acknowledge board are doing a good job looking after the club financially, I am REALLY disappointed in their lack of ability to represent the club’s interest into the AFL and the AFL industry.

A. People feel sorry for them.
B. They whinge the most.
C. Umpires are losers and losers barrack for St Kilda.
D. For every free kick they only pay the opposition 8% of that number.
E. All of the above.
