People who are good at their jobs.

Come into Carlton.

People who are bad at their jobs

Leave Carlton.

We're a broken club. Move us to Tassie.

Tank for Cody.

It's the only thing that makes sense at this point.

Keep Voss. Finish bottom 2. Lock in Cody.

The worst thing we could do now is play half-decent footy and finish 12th.

Nah.

We have to learn how to win games again. Don't poison another generation with this idea that results don't matter.

I'll take 12th with some positive momentum over 17th, whether the latter is deliberate or not. We'll get Cody either way, and we'll pick up someone decent via trade or FA with the salary cap space, the important thing is the mood and culture we bring them into.

100%

not having a go at you directly at you fkabam-bam ... but people are flower mad if they think tanking for 1 particular player is the answer to our woes. we did it repeatedly for kruezer, gibbs, murphy etc and went nowhere.

traded up for jagga, who looks thin and skittish in a sea of afl hardened mids ... one player alone is never changing the fortunes of this shit show of a club.

creating a winning culture is what's important. giving these kids confidence, is what's important. breaking them with our losing bullshit all for another player to walk thru our doors and succumb to our losing, will be another generation of watching gibbs and murphy underachieve.

And, GW was not responsible for elijah getting a guernsey. look at voss and the direct line coaches. no eye for detail, no care or connection for their players, just total apathy.

fk all of them. not one should keep their jobs beyond this weekend, if i was in charge.

and if that put us in soft cap hell, so be it. i'd go around and hit the local pub leagues and get people in here working for a free feed saturday and free merch.

The club sunk to new lows Thursday night
Just when you thought it couldn’t get worse
And one thing is certain
Nobody will put their hand up and be accountable for allowing a player to walk onto the field in that state

I know you're both right, I'll just be so angry if we either:

A. Don't get Cody.

Or

B. Have to sell the farm to get him.

This season sucks. It almost feels like it's rigged against us. Even if we win, we lose.

if we coached our players, developed our kids and had leadership at all three levels (on field, off, and front office) it matters less about the players that come thru the door, and its more about; whoever comes thru these doors we will make great.

cats, hawks, swans etc

fwiw, we will get cody whether we tank or not. the afl can't not let us get him when we are this terrible - considering what they've done for once upon a time two terrible teams in lions and suns.

Just when you think things may be about to improve this happens. Never been more disappointed in the club

I was just wondering who he could possibly sack, since he’s just hired them all.

Maybe he could read out a list of people sacked from an A4 piece of paper like he did on Sunday?

Why do i get the feeling the AFL are now positioning themselves to come down hard on us again and maybe even hurt us more this time around.
I'm bracing myself.
