Seriously regretting agreeing to be part of a boys weekend in Adelaide.

My liver and my football related mental health could do without it.

How will we replace Weiters? Will Haynes come in or will HOK come in and we keep L Young back? I shudder at the thought of what Thilthorpe and co will do to us.

F Young in for Hayward to start. Time for consequences for ill disciplined crap that cost 2 goals

I didn't see all of the 2s but heard Haynes struggled. And possibly got injured at the end

I've been missing huge chunks of the night games due to the qld time difference. That goes out the window next week. Ordinary

Give Hayward and Ainsworth some midfield time. Be good for them. And we need to try something.

I'd also give Byrne some minutes in there. Can least lay a tackle.

But regardless, of who plays in what roles, expecting an absolute smashing. Have struggled big time against Adelaide in recent years. The dam's going to burst this week.

Haven't beaten them since 2022 I reckon and with the exception of that game we lost by 3 points (which we were leading late of course) they've pantsed us every time.

They’ve dropped off big time compared to last year but get us at the perfect time.

In 180+ games at Sydney Hayward had never been suspended?

Yes Trav , they have dropped off big time . And there midfield is ordinary and as slow as ours . We can actually cause an upset .

Flynn Young for Hayward should give a good account of himself.

Haynes has to come in, ready or not. Young, Derksen, Haynes… buckle up!

Have to resist the urge to push McGovern or Kemp back.

What about Matty Cottrell - can we get him in yet?

Wilson and Charleson aren’t quite there, but they look to be coming into a window of form. Typical for a league-wide bye :banghead:
Both of them need to get a hold of the Filth next weekend.

Don’t think we can bank on Lord coming straight back in. Would be nice though.

Our nightmare has arrived. No Weitering.

Interested to hear if any Lewis Young haters want to drop Young?
If so, who goes to man mountain Tilthorpe?
Haynes? Derksen? Kemp? Gov? Even Khamis would be too small.

Dean can’t be considered again because of the 12 day concussion protocol.
O’Farrell recovering from ACL.

Our midfield group will need to defend hard.
Who’s our best defensive mids?
Anyone want to drop Hewett?

Sorry to sound divisive.
I’m pointing out our senior players on our list have a role whether they are in your best 23, they are important for depth.

Next year our seniors are a year older, and may face the chop, but for now we need each and every player on the list to bond and play for each other, and play to win. It’s too early in the season to give up and pick the kids. We have to play to win and try turn this season around in the hope Harry finds his late 2025 form, Kemp marking and kicking straight, and not relying on luck alone, Ollie improve his timing with kicking, etc etc

Backs against the wall. Reputations tarnished. Coach let down. Supporters let down. Supporters will be turn up. They’ve bought their tickets. Some have committed to boys weekend

I don’t want to throw kids out against Crows. Crows will be looking for blood, 4 points and percentage. We need to stand up and look for improvement. We have plenty to play for.

Hayward lost his chance to pay us back for the crap he’s served this H&A and Fridays 4 points.

Lord should be back. Who else.

I’m by the pool. Fkn hot. Thinking thinking…..can we cause an upset?
