more stunning vision was the fact at centre bounces after HT we never once set up a mid on the defensive goalside in front of gawn. the whole league knows pitto doesn't / can't jump and barely contests after HT, so all gawn had to do was tap the ball forward into all that vacant real estate and let the fast demon mids to run onto the ball.
1:48 There are 2 players set up on the defensive side and Walsh gets sucked into the contest while Max just taps it forwards. I think this was late in the 2nd when they were already changing the momentum.
3:02 There are 2 players set up on the defensive side, but Cripps drops his tackle, Jagga goes to help and Pickett is left all alone. This was in the 4th.
On Kayo
3rd Q
First bounce. Hewett and Walsh are set up on the defensive side. Gawn taps sideways to his mid and they push forwards.
Next Stoppage. We have Cripps and Walsh set up on the defensive side.
After 3 min of the Q we get to Walsh in the F50 and Walsh misses a shot on goal 45m out.
After a further 1.5 min they move the ball down their end and Langdon kicks a goal.
2nd bounce. We have all 3 players set up on the defensive side, Gawn taps the ball to ground Pickett collects it runs, rolls, sidesteps and kicks to Latrell.
I’m sure if I went through the whole half I’d see a lot more, it wasn't set up, it was outclassed.
