Yep… if they could kick straight they would be in front….Gawn beating TDK though not much in it. JSOS not doing much.

32 hit outs to 19 is a bit more than not much

To be fair, last time he played the Dees Gawn had 38 and Tom had 5 so he’s at least earned a little bit more of his $80k match payment this week.

Though $4k a tap still seems steep.

1 game in and Dee’s look a completely different side and system. Amazing how it can take some 1 summer to change things up.

As with us in Voss’ first season. I’m not sure Voss fully buys the new uncontested style of play. Hes been coaching completely the opposite for the past 4 years.

Agree

It doesn’t take 2 preseasons for a game plan to be learned. Gelling shouldn’t take too long if everyone is on the same page.

I can’t see the current game plan to have been revolutionised. Same as last 2 years. Come out of the blocks with run and gun, and walk the 2 nd half instead of providing options for the shorter kick and keeping possession.

I did see something different in preseason. WTF happened to that?

Watch the way the Bont moves around the ground, then think of our skipper.
Then compare their goals for the season..................that should tell you all you need to know of what is required come round 0 when the intensity lifts to AFL level.

They're focusing too much on academies for their talent into the AFL.
When they should be creating a national seconds as a feeder to the AFL IMO.
Getting players when they are more mature into the system will increase the spectacle of the game overall.

The Hawks finished 13th in Mitchell's first year and 16th in his second.
Should that be our pass mark for this year and next?

I wondered why and noticed our team has a bye round 1, this week, and 18 other teams playing.

Not this shit again....

Our VFL team has a bye Round 1, 12 and I suspect 23 and/ or 24??

The players who missed easy shots at goal in first 6 rounds last year deserved to be mentioned and ridiculed.

The players who miss shots dead in front this year should be too.

Voss is another story. His time to be judged will come. Easier to judge him when players are doing their job!!

For now, FFS can they please take their rare shots at goal serious and as professionals? That would be a good start for them, team and Voss.

I'm talking ... Fog (who shouldn't be selected again) Cripps, Kemp, and Harry who are all hit n miss.

If they want to be forwards they have to kick like professional forwards, or we ridicule them.

They are a total Embarrassment.

Not sure why Crippa decided to change his run in. He had it working for him and then he went for the JK shuffle. FMD.
Get back to basics Cripps with all your game.
