That’s about the clickiest baitiest thing I’ve ever seen and that includes “I’m Donald Trump and I’d like to show everyone my wife’s penis!”.

Barracked for us as a kid and has torn us a new one (on several occasions) are at least factors we consider when trading for a player.

Sounds legit to me

We won't have to worry about his old man, he won't rock up to Carlton functions. :P

I have a feeling the Dean and Walker families will be different . Campo hovers in the background and seems happy to let it all unfold .

Wouldn't that be delicious if naicos came to the blues and won the Brownlow, whilst Charlie went to the pies and twisted his ankle while skateboarding just prior to first round, so he only plays half a season.

I have stayed clear of all the Charlie Curnow articles but succumbed & read one today on Fox Sports where Montagna in a demented phrase reckons two first round picks.. 15-19th or thereabouts .. is enough to get Curnow.

Yeah, right. And how did that work out for GWS in the Cameron deal? They got Jack sh*t out of those two late 1st Round picks.
Then he reckons a B grade player thrown in might just get it done. Ridiculous posturing.

Curnow wants to get to Geelong (the swans thing is a distortion).. and Geelong just got annihilated in a grand final.
Surely Curnow has time to review the record of teams thrashed in GFs… it ain’t pretty. Judged by history, it is highly unlikely Cats will climb the mountain again with this roster. Father-sons left, grand final beat down.. good luck.

How many clubs that get pumped in GFs go out & buy a box office full forward?

That’s what the last two clubs are doing right now.

If true then this is exactly what we need, premiership experience and on field leadership.
Even if he says no, then they are trying to do the exact thing that should've been done a few years ago.
Couple this with adding speed, skill and mid age depth, finally we have some common sense to our list management approach.

Quote:
Club in recent days pitched an offer to Steele Sidebottom to see if he would be interested in a player + coaching role from 2026 onwards. Unlikely to happen but an example of some of the smart wheeling that GW is doing in the background.

Certainly puts Torin on the map

Good for him. He’s done a top notch job with the College of Sport program.

Hope we don’t lose him to Port.
