2 weeks ago I would have said this was a pretty good team to have

Let's pick a taller side in the rain against a much smaller team.

Good plan

After 9 months in Space the NASA Astronauts returned back to Earth today with one headline saying .... "NASA Astronauts will have to relearn how to walk"

Depending on what happens this week and possibly the next the Carlton Football Team may have to follow suit.

Definitely not a strong enough response to last week's effort. Evans the only casualty?

Now that's a bold statement on team selection after last week's performance ... Wow only Evans got the chop

I think the problem is the club is in denial that the list is good enough
We have had enough of a sample size in regards to McGovern Williams
Fogarty is ordinary doesn’t do enough
Docherty is soft and passed it regardless of the touches he got in the last. The guy has been through the ringer but there should be no sentiment in footy
Voss will continue to select these guys
Two things will happen
We will have wins and losses and some reasonable games where we lose and we will be mediocre
Not enough pace not enough kicking skills not enough balls and toughness
The other scenario is we continue to lose and at a point Moir Binns Lemmey and Wilson’s non-selection becomes an issue if their ready to go
I hope it’s the latter
The third scenario is I am wrong

I’m not sure if I should be shocked, disappointed, angry, frustrated or just not care.
This team has me confused. I hope Voss knows what he is doing because I’m lost.

Agree with most of that.
Except I don’t think Moir, Binns, Lemmey and Wilson will move the needle. Maybe one of them will come good but I don’t think most of them are better than those they’d replace.

The question is how do we know
Binns and Moir were good last year when Voss had to play them
Voss is clearly set in his ways

I have come to the conclusion that he doesn’t

I'll be surprised if Evans doesn't come back in with up to 40mm forecast. Rain might be in McGoverns favour. IMHO, higher skilled players are better equipped to handle the greasy ball. But play him as a forward only. Personally, I'd leave Kemp out.

Our one paced midfield kills us! we should be adding cottrell to middle mix similar to Ed Richards a few years ago and then playing Cerra half forward he’s much more damaging forward of the centre he’s way too slow with his decisions in the back half

Rain will favour our contest game, if last weeks skills and system failures were an anomaly reckon we are a better chance than expected. Hawks by 39 points.

I'm a bit of a very amateur meteorologist. I'm not convinced conditions will be that bad at first bounce. Next minute match abandoned due to lightning.
