Some chatter online that Curnow's knee isn't responding well to the clean out and that he may need additional surgery.

Hopefully it's just bs but with this club who the hell knows.

They should be back training at PP soon. Dropped by today & the surface looks good.

Saw an article yesterday where Fogarty said there was 40 players at training and in match sim.

Never had that before.

Nearest the pin I am going 32 available by round 1

Not bad since there’s only 42 on the list, with Newman & Cincotta both LTI.

Prevention of Knee and Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injuries Through the Use of Neuromuscular and Proprioceptive Training: An Evidence-Based Review

Prevention of anterior cruciate ligament injuries in soccer. A prospective controlled study of proprioceptive training

For all those still playing footy professionally or casually please implement proprioception training into your weight / stretches routines. Can significantly reduce risk of injury including the ACL especially.

Prevention is better than cure.

Was anyone at the open training today? Conflicting reports swirling around about Charlie.

Reported to have left the track early. Some saying it was pre-planned (modified minutes), others saying he appeared to injure himself (lower leg?) and limped off in some discomfort.

I'm hearing he went off after aggravating the knee.

Players at most clubs falling down like flies.
It's a concern.

More red meat needed and less mung beans

Carlton breathing a sigh of relief - scan results on Charlie Curnow's knee have returned no structural damage. @AFLcomau
