I’m surprised Cerra, Doc & TDK are all playing. That seems very risky.

As others have said, Cincotta’s omission is a head-scratcher. One of the few who has had some continuity this season and did OK in last year’s final series. Thought he would get a stopping job for sure.

Agree. Cerra most probably doesn’t get up.

yep, spot on G, i'm really nonplussed about this one.

and motlop or fantasia over moir is a mistake, i think the kid will thrive in a pressure environment

im not so confident anymore

but if we win, i'll be happy to eat my words

i hate this team selection. really, really hate it. too tall, too many players who you would not be surprised if they don't even make it out of the 1st qtr.

no offense to doc, but we go and be the tallest, slowest team in afl. take them to gabba and bring in doc after a season off. slow on top of slow. the exact opposite of the winning formula.

this team really shits me haha.

Go watch the 3rd quarter of the opening round up at Bris.

No Walsh, no Weitering either. Lost Doc at half time too.

That's how we can play when the chips are down.

46 pts down in the 2nd qtr, win by a pt.

GO BLUES

I don't think we get the margin now. Blues under 39

A few compromises in the team. Kemp is needed forward when TDK goes on ball otherwise I'd probably prefer Moir in.
Doc's role will be interesting. I'd suggest he'll play wing and Ollie will line up in defence again. I like Durdin in, as long as he's fit enough. Motlop very lucky. As is McGovern IMHO. Not a greatly balanced line up but I can understand why the coaches have gone with it.

Hopefully Cerra has completed a solid training block and is ready to go. He gives us class and defensive running in the midfield. If Cripps is again limited by Dunkley, we'll need all the ball winners we can get in the middle. This match up could determine the game. Dunkley has done a job on Cripps the past 3 times we've played the Lions. We need him to rise above it desperately.
Huge opportunity for Harry to assert himself with Charlie out.

Lord is stiff to miss out. He actually provides something a bit different. He's very clean at getting the ground ball to outside runners. Something we lack.
I'll be there with fingers, toes and everything else crossed.

Really don’t like this team, feeling very negative after seeing it. Six changes are too many. We are too tall and too slow in the fwd line. I can’t see how TDK will, add value as a permanent forward, he hasn’t shown anything as a fwd so far.
Motlop and Durdin as small forwards really worries me.
Cincotta out really worries me.

I’m sure there will be 1 or 2 outs.

Like most I feel this side looks too slow, too many underdone players. Odds on someone limping off before quarter time? Ah well, in Voss we trust.

I"m gonna look on the bright side of things . Our best is better than there best and I'm backing us in to be at our best . That will give us a win .

Interesting that Carroll preferred to Lord as an emergency.

Like it that Moir is still emergency.

I’d prefer to see Moir and Cincotta in the 23.

I agree.
We have chosen a tall, slow team and players who will be really underdone.
I hope they prove me wrong but I do not like it all.

Having only 1 key forward makes it a reasonable selection.

Team doesn't look to much slower than the team that won there round 1.
Cotrell Boyd Carroll Curnow Cunningham Owies and Fogarty missing

Walsh Durdin Motlop Elijah Pitto Cowan Weiters all added

With the exception of Curnow the ins look better
