Agree.
Making top 4 harder now.
Cats will win their remaining 2 games.

Can't agree with that logic at all.

Neither can I

Win tomorrow and we’re all but certainly playing finals.

The stakes are huge!

Hopefully the Crows can knock off the Dogs tomorrow and win the showdown next weekend.

Cannot believe we're gonna finish below frikkin Geelong

Such a wasted opportunity from when we were two games clear in 2nd.

I worked this out.

Just say we win 1 game, lose 1 game, & hold our % of 107.4

And Coll beat Melb, & Melb score 60 points. Coll would need to have scored 202 points & won by 142, to equal our %.

It's late & my algebra isn't as good as when I was 17, but I think that's right.

Am I reading the ladder incorrectly?

We win both games and we are a certainty (IMHO, unlikely given injuries)

Freo would need to lose next week as well (to Port, but at home)...I'm tipping a Freo win

Win today and all I care about is showing the door to the filth for 2024!!!!

Haw and WB just win 1 each (assuming we only win 1) and Coll jump us (unless Freo win next week)

If we win both we are in. Doesn't matter if Freo win next week.

If we win today but lose next week (or visa versa) we need either

a) Hawthorn to lose 1 of 2 and it comes down to %...or
b) Bulldogs to lose both their games... or
c) Freo lose next week to Port

Each of those gains us a place so winning just one game we can finish as high as 6th if all the above happens.

NB even if we win Collingwood can still make it if B & C happen. They'll be below us.

and really ... is it exciting making the playoffs knowing with injuries we're fodder? not sure we beat st kilda even if we somehow pull off today.

The pre finals bye & the wisdom of Andrew Russell will get us sorted.

The more finals the players experience the better prepared they will be, unless your Essendon* of course.

Agree. At this point, playing any final is a win.
