Well done, Saad.

Lots of positives as mentioned by others.
Cons
-Ollie Hollands only 7 disposals
-Brodie Kemp getting outmarked by Koschitzke on a couple of occasions when he should have spoiled
- Injury to Kennedy and I suspect Saad, Weitering and Williams will all pull up sore

Ollie looks like he could do with a rest. Cottrell would be an obvious swap when he’s ready

Good win.
I didn't go, hats off to those who braved the cold and wet today.
Sensational second half, especially that 3rd quarter.
Hopefully Kennedy is ok and a few others will be a bit sore.
Cripps is in Brownlow form. What a captain.
A game and a half in second position now.
Is Boyd in trouble?

Is Boyd in trouble?
No. Their player ducked into it and Boyd pulled up short to minimize the impact

Kennedy has a knee (medial) according to Voss in the post-game presser. Fingers crossed it’s at the lower end, but we might not see much more of him in the remaining H&A games.

Good, old fashioned 1980s Carlton that one. Sat in 3rd gear, treated the opposition with contempt then just opened up when we felt like it and killed them.

Great response to being challenged early, Blues.

Massive third quarter from Cripps after a disappointing second. Some great one-twoing between him and Walsh in the third to stamp their authority on the game.

Special mention to all the foot soldiers who regularly miss out on votes, e.g. Boyd (don't you dare, Christian) and some who were in contention until pulling up sore, e.g. Kennedy, Saad.

Important to bank a comfortable win or two against struggling sides, especially when they come to play, rather than getting complacent. Roll on, Blues.

he’s a great reader of the play i think. and classy for the most part when disposing of it. mr professional.

Pleasing (via AFL site)

For the entire match, the Blues converted 15.6 (96) to 5.6 (36) from turnover, which is their highest tally of the season from this source after 79 points against the Cats last week. They scored 7.2 (44) to 2.2 (14) from attacking midfield turnovers.

Couldn't be happier myself . Barring injury concerns of course . Don't want to individualise coz it was a massive team performance BUT ya gotta mention the Skipper coz the bloke was mammoth . Special mention to Chez on his comeback game and another special mention to big Pitto who pushed , shoved and bullock all day and kept going at Nankervis from start to finish . Pitto has a massive role to play for mine . There in not a more exhausting role than what a ruckman plays and he is going to be a massive backup for TDK . Reckon Pitto is one of the most underrated players in the comp myself . Big ticker he has .

Wasn’t happy with the first half. Played way too slow and the pressure, contest and intensity were all way below our standards.

Very pleasing second half. Very pleasing.

We’ve set ourselves up to have a real crack at the flag. Amazing to be able to even type that!

A lot to go yet and continually pray to god for a healthy run from here on in.

Pros:

Powerful 2nd half.
Spread of goalkickers. Very encouraging to get so many goals from our smaller forwards.
Cripps, Newman, Saad, Acres, Fogarty, Fantasia, Elijah.
Good job by Cowan on Bolton.

Cons:

Oli, Boyd and Owies were quiet.
Funny how BT didn't accuse the Richmond player of being responsible when Boyd was penalised for a dangerous tackle.

Was at timezone for my kid's birthday so followed the first half on my phone.

Just watching replay now, thought we were better in Q1 than the match thread suggested. Loved Cripps having a go at Wankervis for his late hit on Harry. What a great captain we have. Easily in the frame for brownlow 2 now.

How about Dirty Nank's deliberate hit on Harry being lauded by the chief buffoon in the commentary box as a "professional free kick"?
