how much of that frenetic fast play and swarming the oppo will we lose with guys like kennedy and harry coming back?
like, cerra for dow - like for like no brainer, cerra is better.
walsh for fish or does he come in for hewitt?
kennedy will be behind hewitt in the depth chart now, yeah?
if harry could ruck it's a no brainer for pitto. but he can't so he'll replace someone who's been responsible for the frenetic foot speed, forward pressure and locking the ball in our front half that both dees, pies and aint's couldn't deal with.
it's going to be interesting to see how this shakes out.
walsh, cerra and imo sos for pitto are the no-brainer upgrades - everyone else will really, possibly even dramatically change the make up and balance of this current side.
Kennedy would be a great sub to bring on when others tiring. He's done damage from that spot before. Weapon. Hewett is back in top form and not going anywhere.
Harry is around the goals and not part of the swarm further up the ground. He will create even more space between opposition defenders and stuff up their team defence (think Lever and May partnership).
Whilst we have manic players sending manic ball forward we still need hard nuts like Pitto wearing down the opposition with his hits on them, and nullifying the oppositions ruck. Leaves TDK to play his manic self, and have rests when needed.
Bring them all on. We can only get better. It all starts in the midfield: Cripps Hewett Docherty and we add Walsh and Cerra to those blokes. I'm sure no one disagrees they trump Dow, Fisher, Fogarty, Cuningham in the middle.
