Sydney would need to beat Adelaide away and/or Melbourne at home and make up 4.7% percentage against us.

This is the only way we can miss the 8 now if we fail to beat the suns and giants.

For the love of god let's just get it done next week.

Thanks for clarifying

Also saints would need to win one of their last two.

They have Geelong and Brisbane at the GABBA. Not unrealistic that they could lose both, which means it won't matter what Sydney does.

Anyway, we should get the job done ourselves, lol.

Looking at others on the ladder, if Adelaide beat Sydney that's massive as they go past the loser of GWS/Ess on 44pts + % and they have WC in the final round.

GWS then have us and Ess have Coll.

Assuming GWS and Essendon* don't have a draw.

Can't see us not making finals

5th most likely

To me it looks like our path to the grand final will go through Brisbane and Port, both on the road obviously.

(After winning week 1 in Melbourne)

that's the nightmare.

only team that i think can genuinely beat us is lions at the gabba. and our record in adelaide is attrocious.

either way, it's a mountain to climb. still hoping for some kinda miracle and we get pies or dees at the g

i think (looking at the draw) giants will be in a spot in the last round where it's beat us and they're in ... so that's a finals game for us, a week early.

really, we've been playing finals footy for well over a month now. it's about how long we can keep this up. it's great we haven't lost anymore players while others are healing. but, still...

We are in a great spot.
Players selected each week are firing and don't look like tiring.
Russell has everyone selected fit to play 4 quarters.
We will welcome fresh players over the next 2 weeks, play a praccy Final vs GWS in the last round, then a week's rest before our first Final, at home, in 10 years.
Do you think there's Carlton players who want to have a rest?

I feel GCS are in the way of our destiny and we need to knock them off their perch this Saturday afternoon.

May the sun shine on Carlton.

Will it work out that our reserves have a final that weekend? Hope so.

If Essendong beat GWS then I hope Brisbane beat Collingwood, because that will mean Collingwood potentially have to win in Rd 24 to hold top spot while Essendong probably have to win to make finals.
