And Vinnie couldn't even crack it for a game in the Grand Final that year.

Truly 1979 is underated as one of the greatest sides of all time (no thanks to Tom Prior ).

Here is a team that only lost 3 games all year - by a total margin of of 29 points - finished on top of the ladder by a clear margin of 2 games and 16%, and as I recalled kicked 100 points or more in 22 of their 24 matches.

Not too bad methinks.
