Watching the reserves I was impressed with Binns although he is terrible overhead marking-wise in a contest and Martin needs to come in. Rusty first quarter but after that was very good. Cunningham needs a few more games in the 2's to blow out the cobwebs given the lack of game practise over the last 2 years but needs to come in.

I have to beg my 12 year old son to go with me.

That's how unappealing Carlton are.

It's not me by the way.

Honestly.

Yep Mick only in the press Mick because his father was on 3AW and surprise surprise they picked two interns one was the Pooper and the other was Peter Costello’s son if their name was Dardew Mick wouldn’t have got in the front door Nepotism alive and well in Melbourne and particularly in media circles

I know we the supporters hate these pricks with a passion, but does this group of players have the same feeling, I doubt it . Just to bloody nice and p.c.

I actually think we’ll win this week but sadly I’m at the point where I hope we don’t.

Because if we do it’ll just paper over the cracks (chasms?) for a bit and the players will go back to thinking they’re superstars.

Sad time to be a Carlton supporter.

Will also make some Carlton supporting Saad knockers squirm too.

That's Saad the All Australian, and after 12 rounds, Saad is Champion Data's top 10 rated players, and he's been tagged the last couple of weeks.

One week at a time GWS.
10 games to go.
Win this and we are 2 games from Effendopes who sit at 8th.
Then we have Suns at home before the bye.
After the bye we face Hawks at the G.

One small step at the time.

There's a slight chance.

Despite an extra game this year, in a more even comp, it may be 12 games required to finish in the 8.
Effendopes need 5 more wins, and we need 8....very slight chance.

We get our chance to stifle the teams above us, Suns (twice), Freo, Effendopes, Saints (that's 5 games we must win to get above them)
We have Hawks, GWS and Eagles to play (that's 3 games we should win)

Our destiny is in our own hands.

We may turn things around and get a bit of momentum and have a chance vs Dees, Pies, Port (3 games not likely to win, but....win 1 of them, or two...)

It aint over till its over.

Pies got their 2022 season going after the bye, well the game before the bye against us.

I'm with you Bondi. Not ready to call the season just yet. Maybe I'm in denial, but reckon we really can win our next 3.
Do that and the boys should get their confidence back and some belief which is sorely lacking.
Add that to a pretty reasonable run home, reckon we can give it a shake.
Of course, we lose to these cheating turds Sunday night and its all over.

Can we have a terrible win - like Essendon* v Norf last week? Little bit of 'nourishment' but still areas the boys can 'go to work' on during the week? Just as a little treat.

Pull your head in, with respect.

It's Essendon*, we don't hope that we lose to them, EVER!

I thought you were losing faith mick talking about Memberships and all that.

I just want to see improvement and more wins than losses. Might not make Finals, but if the boys can give us some belief they can win on their day, that's enough for me.

Who knows, maybe 11 games get you into the 8 despite an extra game played, given the number of upsets we are witnessing this year. North should have beaten Effendopes last week. So glad Saints lost last against the Hawks. GWS beat Cats at the Cattery.

We have to pick ourselves up and get our shit together: supporters and team performance. Off field we are doing really well. I can't see the club going under like I could in 2003.
