Half-backs: Alex Cincotta - Mitch McGovern - Blake Acres

Centreline: Sam Walsh - Patrick Cripps - Ollie Hollands

Half-forwards: Zac Fisher - Harry McKay - Jack Silvagni

Forwards: Corey Durdin - Charlie Curnow - Jesse Motlop

Interchange: Lachie Cowan - Ed Curnow - Josh Honey - Matthew Kennedy

Emergencies: Tom De Koning - Brodie Kemp - Lochie O'Brien - Lachie Plowman

I simply do not rate that team

We can’t afford to have too many injuries

Holes everywhere

Ordinary Half forward line

Very ordinary bench

Again, the game will be decided on whether our best players have great games and get us over the line

Yep, Cripps needs to poll votes and Charlie and Harry need to kick 10+ between them. I reckon Coach Ross knows this too. Not many other match winners in that team at the moment. I expect Walshy to do well but the others I am not to confident.

Wholesale changes must surely be coming in a few weeks.

Why would we change the team that's top of the ladder?

No midfielders are kicking goals this season no matter which Club they play for . A new trend for some reason . Not just our midfield .

Two tall defenders named on the bench in the ressies.

Can’t help being a little bit jittery.

Just watching one of the footy shows highlighting our bad stoppage play against Adelaide, we actually set up well and were first to the ball.
The point being made was that we were going too hard and couldn’t control the ball. But we protected the space and got to the ball first. Yes, we weren’t clean and they took the ball away with speed. But if we could just be clean, maybe we’re not as far away as it seems?

I know it's a foreign concept these days, but in the olden days, players were selected if they played well consistently in the 2s

These days we use gobblygook terms like markers, targets, KPIs, triggers, 'like for like', team balance, managing etc etc. for the club to tell supporters that black = white

After showing some promiseHoney has gone downhill
OBrien is simply not AFL standard
Dow has been very ordinary at AFL level but he has been the best player in the twos
We are crying out for some leg speed
Why give a guy a contract and not pick him when it’s warranted
With Saad out we have less leg speed

As a question Keogh, did you watch the VFL on the weekend?

I didn't, but since you do, can you capture in 25 words or less Honey's contribution at VFL level that saw him selected and his contribution at AFL level once he was err umm teehee "rewarded"

So Honey gets a promotion for five possessions in 3.5 quarters of football? At least he's a forward that kicks goals. Oh wait.
