One thng clear from these finals is that pressure is paramount. I am not even sure how important game style is in that regard.
Defensive structure also. You could see on the telecast, Pendlebury and Sidebottom running back when they were in front to fill holes and otnumber Geelong in the D50. Our leaders failed at that task.

Now there's a couple of blokes with Super footy IQ"s .

I often see JSOS do the same thing late in games…..

Yep, thought the same thing

Regardless of how this pans out, enough mud will stick. It will ultimately be the player's word against that of Clarko et al

The independent review may conclude that in the absence of irrefutable evidence (an actual recording of the conversation), they are satisfied that the allegations are substantiated?????

Young Bucks said 'Goosebumps'. That's what I got from it. He will bring Carlton greatness again. Terrific Dylan, terrific!

Keogh you need to watch this interview and if you @#$% say anything negative thereafter, you are 'Dead to Me.'

What a great way to start Grand Final Day.

Goosebumps.

I feel like Vossy will lead us for the next decade and more.
Head screwed on and knows what it takes to win the Silverware...and he knows he has the players to win it too.

One good thing about MV is he is all about contested ball. We all know how important that is in Grand Finals.

But there's a lot of other things we need to get right.

Team defence was alright and improved massively in second half of the year considering the injuries, lack of continuity especially from pre-season when the whole back 7 got shuffled constantly. Weren't we the only side not to concede a 100 points until really late in the season?

Our biggest issue by far, by far this off season is ball transition and forward entries. Particularly rebound from a turnover. That's become the primary method of scoring the AFL led by Richmond, not contested ball. Need to balance the transition and then defend when we turn it over as well.

Get that right and we are almost there.

We could do with some of Geelong's IP on the conditioning front too.

Yeah . Head of Medical Services at the Cats is Harry Taylor . Yep , the dual Premiership player Harry Taylor . No idea what his qualifications are to score that gig .

Maybe he learnt from The Weapon when he was working at Geelong.

I don't think our issue is game plan, ball movement, pressure acts or transition.

Our biggest issues are composure and match awareness.

This is such an important point you make.

Look at our "experience" profile vs Geelong.
They are match hardened and well drilled, with great leadership forward, middle and down back.
Our list profile makes us look like babies ... experience will come.

Harry was in his final year of a Physiotherapy degree when drafted by the Cats in 2007.

If Selwood retires at Thurs B&F  , Cooke should use his connections to get him to the Blues. What an assistant coach he would be
