I honestly don't think we can repeat today's effort... That will take its toll next week....

The Pies will win easily and our Season is Over... I feel it was over tonight :(

You can be sure the Pies will have a tough match against the Swans and we get the extra days break.

Which of course means nothing where we are concerned …

I don't like our chances if it's a close game. *shudder*

Ultimately, destiny is in our own hands. I prefer it this way. No excuses.

If we are good enough then we make finals

It could be the making of this group or they could wilt and finish the year on a bad note

For me, the key is to maintain that intensity and solid contributions from our lesser lights. Martin and Cotterill were prime examples of often maligned players who stepped up last night. That consistency within the 22 serves us so much more than relying on Charlie or Harry to kick bag of goals.

Do we want the filth to beat the Swans today to lock in a to 4 position so that next week means less, or do we want them to have something at stake that could make them nervy? I'm torn... guess I'll go for the loss because I hate their guts.

I think it's better they lose. They will end up 5th and we get to beat them two weeks in a row .
Go Blues!

I was wondering that too. Not sure.

Had some disaster last round results the past decade. If they are going to go down, they need to go down swinging.

Even if they win today, next week could be important for the sake of a home final. Go the Swans and hopefully the Pies sustain a few injuries.

If we don't bring the same effort then we don't deserve to qualify for finals

We've been inconsistent with our effort for 10 or so weeks now

Watching that game last night you wonder if we would be in this position if Martin Marchbank and McGovern had played a dozen games together.
You can see Young growing more confidence each game with Marchbank and McGovern there. This is despite Weiters stinking it up big time.

Martin adds something to the forward line we are missing.

Well they have been talking this game up for weeks now . If you were sceptical you would say things were manufactured to get the outcome

We’re had significant change since the last game we played them.

Shut down the wing outlets, and bring the i yes airy of last night, we will win.

I actually don't think the dogs will beat the hawks in Tassie.

Hope so. We will know the result about half way through the first quarter.

Last time we played them we lost Weitering in the 1st qtr which put us into total disarray.
Taylor Adams won't be playing for the Pies and hopefully they sustain another injury or two today against the Swans.

I’ll be interested to see how TDK goes today, Pittonet got smacked last night.

Is Kennedy’s ankle a rumour or fact?

Did they rest Cerra last night thinking this is the real opportunity?

Won’t allow myself to get overly invested after last night

I suspect it is more of a case that Cerra has been struggling with a groin injury for some time and it got to the stage where he just couldn't play.
Hope I'm wrong and am happy to be corrected by someone in the know.

Hope the Swans win today to dent the Pies self belief a bit. A flogging might be best actually.
