Did anyone else know that he had Serbian blood?

I always thought he looked ethnic.

You read my mind... That image was verrry familiar. Pretty sure I collected the full set that year... Marbles were all the rage and I was very talented at that game... Might have been the peak of my sporting career! Marbles were exchanged for all kinds of goods and services... All boys' school, what are you gonna do?

LOVED marbles…

cats eyes…Tom bowlers…i was POX at it…!

always impressed when somebody would rest
their flicking hand on top of the other hand…that
rested on two fingers on the ground…then PING…!

the ball would fly through the air….!

i was the same spitting…POX…some boys could
spit 10 metres…i ended up with it on my chin…
couldn’t get purchase on it…!

kindest regards tommi

I had that full 88 set but for whatever reason, Stephen Reynoldson took me what felt like months to get in order to complete...

Wow tommi, I thought I was the only one who couldn’t spit like a champion, I’ve felt like a fraud all my life until now!

He was great. Loved his story about how he got the nickname Dominator.

He wasn’t great, he was a bloody legend. Big game player who stood up when needed.
One of my favourites. His left foot torpedoes coming out of the square at PP will always be a memory,
Legend.

The boy from Wandin Valley and 180cm, just under 6 foot, so part of the legendary Mozzie fleet.

His torps were legendary..... and Rod Ashman's...come to think of it, David McKays torps for goal from 65 yards were a highlight too.

Great kicks, but the Dominator...one of the mosquitoes could really launch the ball
