I would bring in Pitto and drop one of the three
JSOS can chase and harass just as good as them.

If Hewitt fit straight back in

Next few rounds Pitto Dow Marchbank Owies Martin all pushing for selection.

Dow pushing for selection all year. It would be nice to know the MC inner thoughts as to why he cannot get a game.

We cant rest players now, until we are sure we will stay in the 8. If and when this happens, then we can rest players. Need to win at least one more game unless we are relying on other results - which we dont want.

We get Pitto in and JSOS can rest in the forward line. In terms of Cripps, geez this guy needs to stop trying to do too much. He thinks he has to be the hero every time. 30 possessions does not reflect how poor he was today.

I reckon we should just win the last four H&A games and then rest players on the weekend of 27/28 Aug  .

Durdin and Motlop lucky that there’s no one obvious to replace them with, need Owies to put some pressure on that small fwd spot.

Dow is an OBVIOUS replacement for either...I have no doubt whatsover the MC can fiddle around with rotations and match ups to make it work...if they f$%^& well wanted to

We should be able to handle the Crows without Cripps...

Hate this attitude. They will bring the heat and we will get our pants pulled down if we take them lightly

No. Dow will come in as a full time mid or nothing at all

Pittonet must be close to playing. They will want to see how the extra ruck goes with 4 games to go.
Hewett is an automatic selection
I can’t see many other changes. Anyone going out is unlucky

Marchbank is close. Dow is ready when there is a spot. Owies & Martin probably need VFL games

Another must win game we can’t afford to take lightly

Don't do enough. Plenty of years ahead for two of them.

thought i heard on the radio that the crows are the highest ranked pressure side in the comp ... not something we do particularly well with ...

this is a banana game for us.

GWS 17 hitouts to advantage, Carlton 5.
TDK and JSOS getting similar general stats (including pressure). I'd bring in Pitto and give one of them a week off.
I don't believe we can play Harry, Charlie, Jack and a resting ruck in the front half.
IMHO, I'd go with TDK as he provides a better aerial contest.

This would be a great time to break our endless WLWLWL streak.

Doing their role and GWS played extra behind the ball and clogged up the forward line.

We did early in the year and it worked well. Also, makes us unpredictable and stretches the opposition. Sometimes they have can rests on the bench.

Yep.
We need to win this game and the % will be just as important.
We have to keep the momentum going.

There will be NO resting. We need to keep winning, working on game plan and team balance. Players can be "managed" during the week, we had a break only a month ago and there is another break in a month or so just before finals. No need

I feel like we still owe the Crows for that game near the end of 2020 (Shudder)

It's got a real danger game feel about it to me. We'd better not play like we did in the first half yesterday

Wouldn't be surprised if Walsh doesn't play and there'd have to be pressure on the small forwards to keep their spots.
