The injuries to key or third tall defenders is becoming a joke now
Durdin is recruited to fill a void for a month and immediately goes down with a one month injury

You know the tune.
Its called The Jones Curse

There were 8 Tall Defenders sitting on the wall
8 Tall Defenders sitting on the wall.

and if 1 Tall Defender, named Jonesy, should accidently fall,

There'll be 7 Defenders sitting on the wall and one should accidently fall, named Oscar,
There'll be 6 Defenders sitting on the wall and one should accidently fall, named McGovern,
There'll be 5 Defenders sitting on the wall and one should accidently fall, named Parksy,
There'll be 4 Defenders sitting on the wall and one should accidently fall, named Weitering,
There'll be 3 Defenders sitting on the wall and one should accidently fall, named Marchbank
There'll be 2 Defenders sitting on the wall and one should accidently fall, named Durdin, the MSD saviour

There'll be only Young and whoever else takes the 2 spots made from the above plot.

You can't blame poor list management. You can't dream this sort of shit up.
It all started with the durable KPD Jones: The Jones Curse.

Hopefully Kemp gets through tonight’s VFL match unscathed…

Jack Martin might done a calf at all

This morning, Jack (hcp 9), joined Zac F (19), JSOS (23), Jack Newnes (4) and Sam Docherty (12) for 18 holes at KH today.
Ps Zac took the chocolates with 34 pts ( rest were back of the daily field)

The good news is that our season is closely resembling Liverpool FC in 2020/21, they lost all their tall defenders to season ending injuries by mid season, recruited two new ones in the mid season transfer window who promptly got injured as well, but they came back this season and won two trophies while coming within a bee's dick of the other two. #17 in 23,book with confidence.

The Martin injury is just as frustrating as Durdin's, to me.

Yet another player who's returned from injury then re-injured the same thing

I shake my head when I see some teams with 2 or 3 injuries and they are either a one week or test. Ours seem to be a minimum of four to six weeks.
