No Thursday night footy this week.
I was really getting used to it. I feel a bit lost.
Go Blues on Saturday night!

We'll know by the travelling emergency. If Dow flies over, he's playing. I wouldn't be surprised to see Motlop also go as the emergency.

Be good for the club to take Jesse even if he’s unlikely to play as it gives him time with his family

Yes
I thought he might get a run the week after he kicked 4.

Brad Lloyd say 100% Cripps will play

He was mentioned when Durdin had to miss until everyone realised he was in the same situation

Don't all emergencies go over?
In case of.... emergency?

Yes but Dow wont go as the medical emergency again. After missing last week, they'll want to get a game in to him.
Unless the club already know he will be elsewhere next year.

According to Sportsbet this game is now almost even-money. Time to drink some bath water.

Is this a new injury for Kennedy or has he been carrying it for the past couple of weeks?

Apparently soreness and the 6 day break.

Played OK last week and works hard both ways. Also who is going to replace him. LOB didn't set the world on fire in the VFL last week and of the potential replacements it was Philps first (maybe second) game back after injury. He needs more time,

Ultimately Freo have just got over the line against Adelaide, smashed a mediocre Essendon* and West Coast, and did enough to get over GWS. They got womped by St Kilda at home. That's 4 teams who won't play finals this year.

I feel as though the game will be very similar to the second time around we played them last year, where they dominated the second half, but just didn't have the forward options to hurt us effectively. Pearce is going to be a huge challenge for McKay - Pearce beat him fairly well last time around, and McKay still ended up with 3. Ryan probably gets first crack at Curnow, which I think could go either way - Ryan can't compete with him in the air, but not sure Charlie can be accountable enough on him either. The extra tall up forward would have been nice as it would have forced them to play Ryan on one of them, instead of giving them the option of Cox on Charlie instead, and letting Ryan zone off.

I think we can win it, as I just can't see Freo being able to put an 8 goal quarter on us. Then again, everyone else has...

Kennedy is a loss. He has really added more to our midfield then given credit.
Crippa should offset the loss and with Cerra, Walsh (finding form), Hewett and now Fishy adding something through there as well, we should be good.
After watching the replay with a cooler head - I think will win this by approx. 3 goals. They won't be able to hold our forward line.

Feeling bullish about this week, I reckon it will be a top game and we will prevail.

I honestly feel like we're a chance in every game. This is no different. Our best matches anyone's. It's about how long we can maintain it, and how much we can mitigate the momentum of the other mob. I reckon Freo have been over rated given who they've beaten and I reckon we've got them covered. Blues by 20

It's better than only having Kennedy, Cripps and Walsh...

Kennedy has been off for 2 weeks so maybe he has been carrying an injury.

Very confident we will win.

Because ... it will start in the middle with Pitto and Cripps, and the rest will look after itself.
