If injuries are just an excuse just ask Richmond getting belted and complaining about injured players.

5-6 injuries on the list is normal 12-13 cripples not a team but the entire club.

Which triple premiership/Norm Smith and Brownlow medallist do we have out injured?

Let’s start there…

Does it matter? They get few injuries and they crumble like a pack of cards.

They're not a bad team but to play finals you need your best team.

There have been a lot of damning things about the Teague tenure but to be honest what really struck home yesterday was pretty inocous.

In the last quarter when we were getting a very very mini 'run-on' after kicking a couple of quick ones, the North side just chipped it around for a few minutes took about 3-4 minutes off the clock then went down forward quickly and kicked a goal, remaining semblance of hope completely dissipated.

And we have been crying out loud for over 2 years about the "Teague-gift" (opposition actually use this term) of giving up 5 goals in a row without being able to do anything to halt the momentum. Our coach has a philosophy of "oh the best way to stop the run-on is to kick one against the run of play so attack even more".

And here a young side with barely half a season with their coach was schooling us in controlling play. That was it for me.

Untenable.

Sorry Teaguey, not all your fault but you haven't done anything to help your cause.

Of course it matters, Martin could single handedly beat us at the moment from his hospital bed…

Rubbish. Speed in defence is just as important as putting speed on the ball - carried that out large parts last year and this year had Bulldogs on their knees with four goals ahead leading into the final quarter. The factors the team failed to carry this out is many - consistency in starting 22 is one of them. Matched it with the top four sides with a long injury list - to expect any better than currently dished out with an overrated list is delusional at best.

One of the better posters on BF has posted;
Pyke, Leppitsch, Scott, Lyon
one of the above (at least) will be coaching Carlton next year.

But you claim our coaching and development is elite...shouldn't they be turning the aforementioned players into much better players?

Yep, apparently Teague not continuing next year will be announced before the end of the season…

Lloyd won’t survive either…

Liddell is on shaky ground…

Change of captain is being mooted, with Weiters looking likely…

The assistants, apart from Power and possibly O’Keefe, will be moved on…

Teague was interfering with Russell’s role; Russell will remain

There is significant change planned with regards to culture, acceptable standards and list management

Russell needs to concentrate on his job instead of trying to be a media personality.

I'm not sure Leppa and Lyon still have the hunger.
