The umpiring was too one sided.

No way we were going to win today (after the best quarter of footy for the year) with the umpires favouring Freo...yes favouring.

When McEvoy got the clear head high which sent her off the ground and no free was paid...so obvious...and should've been reported, I knew where the game was heading.

Have to remember that its womens footy ... its hard to watch some of them out there. Maddy is the exception...and Georgie Gee...Harrington.

I thought the girls were going to win this comfortably till the umpires had their say.

So no report for Roxanne Roux from this aggressive head high contact on McAvoy?? I thought we had to protect the player with their head over the ball at all costs?

Why doesn't the Carlton Board say something?
What purpose does silence serve with the duplicitous AFL Commission's Tribunal kangaroos?

Sick of it.

Why didnt the players remonstrate?

Disappointed in the culture they display, or don't.

Remonstrating isn't something that happens often in the ALFW games I've seen, a forceful shove is even unusual.

nor the knee into Laloifi after she had taken the mark. That was sickening to watch. Delibrate reach to get her knee in.

I just hope the Carlton FC does say something stern to the AFL about this, or I can't watch to see such injustices prevail along with all the fumbling

Much needed percentage boost for the girls today.

Doubt it’ll be enough though.

Again, like the men, they refuse to learn even the official words of the song (disregarding UP).

Still an outside chance. Melbourne have the top 2 sides to play, we have GWS. Mind you, Melbourne easily beat Adelaide last week so they're definitely in form.

Darcy Vescio is an absolute star of the game and is a level above all the other players in skill and ability.

Spot on. After a slow start to the season her last 6 weeks have been awesome, close to, if not the best forward in the comp. She could have had 8 on Friday but for a couple of errant kicks and being too unselfish.

Hopefully the comp will be a more serious one next year.

If North lose (unlikely to happen) and we win by enough...

Its something like:

North have to lose by 3 goals and we have to win by 10 goals.

Aint going to happen...unless last weeks form was an indication of what we are capable of doing week in week out now we have found our mojo.

Doubt it though.

We dug ourselves into this mess and deserve to be wherever we end up.

3 dumb minutes against Freo.. basically cost us finals... Frustrating...
Again... a lack of ruthlessness

Didn’t beat any of the teams above them so finals was very unlikely anyway.

Is Harris signed up for next year?

Or was that her last ordinary performance for the Blues?
