As per usual give up 5 goals in a row and a goalless quarter.
They are the most mentally weak players in the entire competition.
They have the skills but not the mindset or will to win.

Winning doesn't matter at Carlton hasn't for years .

Some of Dow, lob, kemp, Philp, Ramsey, honey etc become decent contributors.

C Curnow back to his best

Continued improvement of guys like TDK, Williamson, McKay, SPS, setterfield, Cuningham etc

Cripps back to his best

Weiters and Walsh to keep on their upward trajectory to elite

Get some decent recruits like Zac Williams

Fair bit of scope for improvement or we could just go nowhere

The umpires cost us 3 goals but they were bloody good conversions from 50 out in a monsoon

Our lot on the other hand were totally putrid... total midfield breakdown... bring back Madhouse to instruct them to kick long in wet conditions

Pathetic skills that quarter by Carlton, continually kicked and hand balled it direct to opposition players when under no pressure or little pressure.

Terrible umpiring made it worse but if we don’t have the ball we can’t get freed, and we don’t have the ball.

Cripps can’t raise his arm over his head and we still put him in the midfield.

Walsh being given a lesson in running by Neale.
