I assume the PP surface has already been prepared? (LAUGH)
After so long without footy, if I see us start limply and flat-footed like we always seem to against this mob, fist may go through wall.
So sick of being pushed around by these pricks. It's well overdue that we push back.
Good onya Donstuie ... so you should feel that way.
From the training video on the website its obvious the boys are in tackle mode.
The players are trying to work through tackles and not concerned about frees against.
The tackler just keeps on keeping on.
Really encouraging stuff.
In Russell I trust.
Then Teguey has to have the boys switched on from the outset tp the first bounce at Marvel, and the game plan will look after itself.
Only fit and strong players.
I'm not interested in getting games into the 20 and 21yo's.
Players have to earn their spot.
The players whose performance did not warrant a spot in the next round were:
Setterfield, Gibbons, and to a much less stake Dow. I would consider not playing them unless they have lifted since then.
To tell the truth Newman didn't impress me either.
I thought everyone else played OK.
I also believe it wasn't Cripps best game, nor Simmos and they performed well. Walsh was just good.
I also think Murphy's disposal could improve and I expected more from Curnow TBH.
So, the whole midfield group needs to improve in round 2.
Casboult and Harry as the tall targets is great.
Silvagni could have had 4 goals if the umps paid the mark not the free and didn't allow Cunners who righteously did and goaled.
Gov can imporve too, as can Cuners.
If they do, then Betts and Martin will make them look good.
Anything can happen. It all starts with Russell getting to them first, and he's the one who can.
