AFL Members allocation is relayed to the clubs in one installment.

The number of AFL members allocated to us is down on that of last year which shows that AFL Members with Carlton club support have transferred to being Carlton members instead.

For what it's worth - on this day in 2018 we sat on 38,420 members (number as per the 2019 membership thread on Talking Carlton) So we're 10k up on last year.

Also, the earliest we've ever hit 50k was on 1st Feb this year. So we're close to 2months ahead of this years figures. 75k seems very attainable at this rate.

I wonder how many people will keep their (no longer) free member upgrade? if even 5k members keep the more expensive option then it's a massive financial gain for the club.

That was a big jump, up to 48,842.

The above post might explain the sudden increase.

I think there were also more auto renewals this year after the membership upgrade last season.
This may also explain why we up so much on last year.

Gave up my AFL membership 20-21 years ago when the AFL raped us. Went back to being a CFC member.

Got several calls from the AFL as to why I wasn't renewing my membership.

Wasn't backward in coming forward.

By the way, received my membership pack today.

Don't even get a plastic cover for the membership card any more.

Jesus

That's an amazing number.

I hope there's a lot of new members amongst the number.

You don't think they'll go out of their way to make it as dull as possible? Still can't believe how gutless these wankers are not facing supporters.

It was a complete waste of time.
They only answered around 90 or so questions. I asked several, I thought they were legitimate ones, and none were answered.
