Even the passengers out there today had key inputs at different stages of the game.

Just need to fix the forward 50 efficiency and we’ll be a deadly side.

SOS would have wasted it, he’s no good.

Some of our supporters would trade the pick for Papley.

Great to see Charlie smiling and hugging his mates in the rooms. Could easily have sat home and not made the trip I would have thought as he gets over his knee injury.

So happy for the boys.

Great effort down back without Jacob and Caleb.

Great win 4 solid quarters in difficult conditions good team effort

Newman terrific the difference between his best and worst huge

He and plowman today were as good as they were bad last week
Jones much better than last week

Best Walsh Kreuz and Cripps
Jack good again as was fisher
Murph and Curnow strong games

H good kicking was a bit astray but took some good marks and Rampe needed to play him close
Levi pretty good too

Backline better this week

Gibbons Dow and obrien all made a contribution
Felt sorry for Goddard

Newman played a great game. Poor coaching from Horse to allow him to remain pretty much unaccountable all day but his use by foot was superb. Cripps was strong in the contest as was Ed and Murphy continued his rich vein of form. Kreuzer was great as he should have been against the swans lack of a ruckman but he still needed to take advantage of it. Walsh just doesn't stop. If he doesn't win the NRS then the award is nothing more than a farce. He was superb again today. Lots of players played cameos and did their bit, but I think for impact I reckon Levi was fantastic today. Geez he's turned it around. All credit to him

Pros:
We won and Clems Boy got to scream Go Blue team and see it
Good start
Had us head to head and at the line, feeling less dirty after having the same on the pies last night.

Cons:
My Foxtel IQ recording was interupted due to the safety switch tripping just after half time when i had to go and help my old man while the 2nd half was going. Came him to watch it after hearing the end on radio, now have to wait till the replay.

When was the last time we won a game, essentially leading from start to finish?

Today is another valuable step in our players believing in themselves.

And Papley would look good in Navy.

Well that was a happy way to spend the afternoon. In the bag from the first minute.

On target for the 6-8 wins and maybe 15th or 16th on the ladder.

Yep. It was a consistent 4 quarter effort all over the ground. Haven’t seen a Carlton team do that in a long time.

Beat the Swans at their own game with Cripps well held in the 2nd half.
Charlie, Weiters, Marchbank, Cunningham and Stocker all on the sidelines.
Bring on 2020 and beyond.
