Someone like Bolton that can coach as well as man manage.

No idea really, I'd certainly look at Ratten.

I'm more on the knowing who I don't want.........

Longmire
Roos
Scott

Ratts.

Unfairly dumped.

Learning curve under Clarkson.

Finishing school at the aints.

Unless by some miracle we can get Clarkson himself.

IMHO.

Teague who has control of our horrible forward line, why not the only success in Dale Amos?

Luke Hodge - he is basically coaching from the field at the Lions

He doesn't take a step back and leads by example

Clarkson

Maybe Lyon

Otherwise the next best assistant Nicks, Voss, Schofield, Burns, Longmuir seem to be getting some good feedback.

I don't think he'd be ready. Last thing we need is another coach on L-Plates.

As long as it is not Lyon or Scott

Style of play - shit

I don’t think he is in the running at all. Would be an ideal assistant though.

Just to add some info on Hodge. My BIL worked as a site manager when Hodge was renovating. The BIL said he was one of the nicest and easiest clients to work with and would actually help out if he was around, and usually the clients in that area with that money are the opposite of that. The BIL doesn’t suffer fools and arseholes. I think it’s important to separate the on field player with the off field. Be very happy to have someone with a killer instinct on the field and good person off it.

Just passing on as an FYI.

Yep. Needs to be someone with a hard edge and who expects our players to exert that hard edge onto the opponent.

This was my thought.
Teague is in charge of and presumably has set up the least-functional forward setup in the competition.
If that is his level of footy smarts, I can't see a Norf style turnaround in fortunes any time soon.
he has 12 weeks to show us what he is worth.

Personally I would like Ratts back.

Clarkson might like a change and I imagine if he came over we would become an instant destination club BUT we would have to throw the kitchen sink at him and give him a long term contract to go with it. Might be too risky.
