Spoke with a passionate blues supporter today - Mr. Andrew Judd. Known as Juddy, was a big supporter of Liddell, Lloyd AND reckons his son rates the work of Andrew Russell as 11/10!

Got me excited - Juddy has always been a ripping BLoke. After landing on the Blues when his son arrived, he is a true blue boy now.

We want to win flags, have more money, owe less money and be nice to those around us.

Looks like a list of goals to me which is fine but them calling it a strategic plan is a bit of a stretch considering there’s no actual plan to achieve that in the document.

Really hope it didn’t take the office intern more than half a day to put it together.

I agree - its VERY high level with no details.

I think it might have been rushed to coincide with the membership record announcement, but yes you would expect alot more in a strategic plan

It is very light on details, one hopes that there's a lot more inward facing documentation that what the public has seen. Especially as they've been working on this for 12 months or so.

I know it's easy to be critical from afar, but while I hope/think we have the right people in place, I can't see myself referring to this document to satisfy those views.

My take is this clearly is the ‘public consumption’ document. There’d have to be a more robust internal document with the strategies to achieve articulated.

This version is like the forward cashflow projection unsophisticated clients give their banker where there is no underlying assumptions with the same exact income being derived every month.

Agree that its light on details, but the difference is that I have way more faith in MLG and Liddle to have a well thought out plan backing all of this up, than Sticks and Swann.

Having seen Liddle speak about how he approached the building of Richmond’s membership, I’m comfortable there’s no pie in the sky stuff here.

Generally strategic plans are high level in their detail, they are long term goals that form the framework and KPI's for detailed year by year plans that would not be shared publicly.

Thanks for your logical input.
Sanity prevails.

Details should be kept secret and great surprises should be welcome.
At least we have goals: the Premiership goal goes without saying, but must be said.

 That old pearler.

Didn't the finance company earmarked for this project go broke?

All in the past now...the deep dark past.
