And Rod Ashman must be one of the most underrated players to ever play the game.

And if I am imagining it, I'll hold on to the dream

If anyone can post the video, it'd be great to go for a visit down memory lane

Maclure marking in the forward line and Harmes running through the centre, those were the days.....

Unlucky not to win the Brownlow Medal in 1981 - I did get about 8 to 1 on backing him for a top 5 finish.

He used to do those regularly.

Ash man and Buckley kicked two goals in the time on period of the last quarter to cut the defecit from 21 points to a very manageable 9 points.

Parkin told the playing group at 3/4 time that we were fitter than the Filth and we would run all over them and we did.

I think you meant the third quarter Agro. What a team!!!!

Eddie Betts on his way to kicking 8 somehow breaking Henry Slattery's ankles twice in about a phonebox sized space in 2011.

Which Carlton midfielder was better than Ashman?
In his era?
In Carlton's history?

Not many better than Ashman.

Judd, Williams, Bradley, Kouta for a start, and what great company he's in there with.

Tough, inside outside goal kicking mid.
No better allround game. As good as any of the above at his best. IMO.

That's always been my favourite. I was behind the goals in the old Western stand and the ball kept on bouncing and bouncing. My dad and I just jumped up and down like idiots when it crossed the line. Watching it again still sends tingles up my spine...

Wonderful player. Johnno could play a bit, too.

Bosustow, the smother then snap in FP against Cats. That was lightning out of nowhere. He was an amazing player.

The Yarran one along the boundary against Richmond was good though I think Bruce's ejaculation made it better than it was.

Bradley's one against WC a near second behind the Buzz's one against Cats.

Yep, can't imagine another goal topping that, in a GF at a critical moment. I can remember thinking "we've got 'em!"
