Found it. Still gives me goosebumps.

I've been on TC for over ten years and can't recall discussion on your favourite Carlton goal.

Finals aside what would it be?

Personally I really enjoyed kernahan v St Kilda in 1992 at home. Half way through the last quarter, takes on Morris, handballs past him, gathers own handball and kicks a "checkside" from the scoreboard pocket.

Also love Andrew Phillips v Collingwood at Waverley. Think it was the same year?

That Phillips goal was in 89, remember listening to that game on the radio. He snapped it over his left shoulder & we won by a goal.

There was a Wayne Harmes goal against Essendon* at PP in 85. The way he fended off a couple of defenders with one arm was just Ablett Senior-like. Years later at work I had a manager who played U19s for us in the 70s, & he said Harmes was out & out the best player he ever played with. When he said that I thought of that goal

So many great ones already. For comedy Harry Madden against the Crows at Waverley. 1993 finals IIRC?

Not that it's my favourite of all time but one that has stuck in my memory was Judd's Goal against Melbourne in 2008. After a good year or so struggling with the groin issue through the end of his time at west coast and the beginning of his carlton career, it was the first time I can remember seeing him in a carlton jumper break free and burst out of the middle and nail the goal from 50 out. I remember just grinning and thinking thank God we got this bloke

Actually while i'm on the Judd theme, the pick up and goal on his left v Geelong at Etihad (the same game where 206 missed from the top of the goal square while half concussed and cost us the win) was one of the best goals I think I ever saw live.

My favourite Carlton goal still to this day (amongst hundreds of rippers) is Alex jesaulenko's bouncing bouncing bouncing goal from 50 out in the 1970 Grand Final. Everyone went nuts as a win was a real possibility after being 44 points down at half time.

Adrian Gleeson kicked 2 crucial last quarter goals in our first Essendon* game in 95. We had some big names out that day but still got the win.

Dare I say it but Shaun Grigg. Ratts' first win as coach, against Coll in 2008. Tight game, Fev provided the block, Grigg kicked the sealer & the MCG roof almost blew off.

But I think my all time favourite was Simon Minton Connell's in 1991. This was before tanking was even a consideration, & we had a terrible year that year. But to get the win against the all conquering eagles was just memorable.

Can choose from half a dozen Eddie Betts goals and just say "freaky"

But as my memory is dwindling with age, I will pick a more recent one and suggest Murphs goal from the pocket where he just nailed it from a pretty tight angle

Loved his on the ground celebration more than the goal itself

Hope I'm not imagining this one but Ashman roving the pack to put us in front in the last qtr of the 81 GF

IIRC...Jack Dyer calls out on 3KZ, "ohh shut the gate"

And if I am imagining it, I'll hold on to the dream

If anyone can post the video, it'd be great to go for a visit down memory lane

Ash man and Buckley kicked two goals in the time on period of the last quarter to cut the defecit from 21 points to a very manageable 9 points.

Parkin told the playing group at 3/4 time that we were fitter than the Filth and we would run all over them and we did.
