Nice choice to have and I agree, LEAVE MURPH ALONE.

I was reading on another thread that there is a sixty percent chance that if you have a knee reco you will have another one , does that rule out Doc for future captain , think he would make a great captain , but do you take that risk , can't wait to see him back next year though.

A great gesture, if true.

I've withdrawn my nomination as Captain of the Australian Cricket Team. Excellent gesture by me, gives the eventual Skipper some clean air.

Even by TC standards that's a terrible analogy. :)

Credit to Murph.

It's good Murph has moved on.

Hope he can focus on getting his body right and his skills back to a decent level.

Murph might thrive without the preasure of the captaincy!

I think Cripps deserves it, but i dont want to burden him any further. I mean, the poor bastard has single handedly carried this team all year, i dont wanna burn the dude out. So maybe a jpoint captaincy with him and Sam.

Don't see Rowe or Kerridge as captain options tbh.

Crippa is the physical beast. The on field presence that drags a team along with him.

Doc is the playing coach and polished media performer who excels off field.

Awesome choices and both complement each other. Both will be excellent in the role.

I prefer the Capt/VC/DVC structure, but when you put it like that I don't have a big issue with Crippa and Doc as co-captains.
