Same bunch of people who watch Carlton every week too.

Clarko's rebuild results in finals in 3 years, premiers year 4
Hardwick's rebuild 10 wins 3rd year, finals 4th year
Roos rebuild, starting from 2 wins got to 10 wins by year 3
Bolton's rebuild, bottom year 3, almost winless, albeit injuries but beyond terrible.

That's not a list that's totally terrible, just doesn't go through the whole 22 right now. No excuse for a near winless season. Better game plan, better ball use and better effort would help. That's all coaching.

People must love a poor game plan, a confused football side, a lack of effort and think coaching is ok. What world do they live in. Don't expect finals but i expect better. Some must really embrace losing and happy to let everything go along swimmingly as it is.

I honestly don't understand how delusional some people are on here, there is a lot of kool aid flowing. 397 disposals and we scored 7 goals. Gee I wonder what the problem could be?? It's baffling. Nah it must just be the injuries :donk: :donk:

I'm putting up 10 x $100 bets for all those sure that Bolts will win us a flag. This should be a no-brainer way to make $100 if people are convinced we're on the right track.

Some people think it's fantastic. I'm sure they want to give Bolts a 10 year contract based on all this...lol.

The telling point might be me how much pain/scrutiny are the people that put him in charge willing to take.

Firstly, the players you've listed bar Ed have all been injured throughout the season which effects their individual games.

Secondly, as I have repeatedly been asking. Why is it ok for Adelaide, who have also been crippled by injuries be down 5 games on last year and it's not only not ok for us but totally unthinkable by yourself and others on here.

You can not have a good game plan and continuity if your players are continually getting injured, especially when they all have their own individual strengths and weaknesses.

FWIW, I'm not happy nor embracing loosing but I know we are finally doing the right thing and patience is required. And some luck with injuries would be great.

You might want to check the senior core available when they began the rebuild and compare them to ours.

Murphy ain’t Shane Crawford.

This is boys v men causing most.
We could be harbouring a bunch of Kruezers who spend more time trying to recover than actually playing.
Every knock every strain just takes that polish and shine off them until they spend an entire football career battling injury.
They have stuffed this up big time

Unfortunately you could be onto something here, the injuries to the kids is a by product of the senior players being out injured so often. Let's just hope that they don't carry them into next year.

So by your definition, if he takes us to a losing GF, that isn't us "on the right track"?

Tenuous.

Sp you'll happily rule out the genuine possibility that maybe he speaks from experience and knows what he's on about?

You sure about that?? Bolts' (roughly 7 yr old) son is playing footy with Clarkos' (roughly 11 yr old) son?? Impressive...

Plus, Hawthorn received a priority pick that year.
Just saying.

They actually received 2 in back to back years.

Picks 2 and 5 in 2004 (Roughead and Franklin...Lewis pick 7)
Picks 3 and 6 in 2005 (though they stuffed them..Ellis and Dowler)

Had Hodge and Mitchell already at the club too from 2001 draft.

We will need a very strong improvement in the first 6-8 games next year or Bolts will not see out the 2019 season.

Was shocked to read last week that we had the lowest footy department spending in the entire league this year. Even lower than Gold Coast and Brisbane. Hard to develop players and keep them fit if you don't have the quality or resources.

What a surprise that someone who thinks we should just sack all the management, is offering even money on an 18-1 bet!
