I too have been here since the very beginning and met some wonderful people, none more so than Frank
Yes so many interesting people make this site what it is - a great place for Blues fans. Some great connections overseas like Blue Sombrero and of course to meet the stalwarts Moshe, Doc Sherrin, Cammo and the godfather Jarusa.
We also met at Southbank for about ten minutes in 2013 to discuss our hatred of Essendon**. Think you had water and I had orange juice.
Randomly met another poster in The Pineapple Hotel back in the Pagan days. 2004 I think. Forget their screen name now though.
Met bluedog for all of ten seconds the day that sealed Pagan’s fate. He ate meat then. Funnily enough I met molsey the night that sealed Ratten’s fate.
Also met a guy called house and also Molly after that flogging by the Lions 11 years ago.
I have only met a few TC members. Being in Darwin I don't get the opportunity often but have met Noonamah Blue at an NT Thunder game a few years back. I think he was wearing a Blues Cap and I was wearing a CFC member polo. Naturally got talking and discovered the TC connection. Susequently from his posts have found we share a similar interest in music. Hi Noonamah!
Also remember meeting a couple of guys who were involved in the TBV meltdown many years ago. I had travelled to Melbourne for a family function which coincided with Carltons family day. I was talking to Clinton Benjamins parents, when the guys in front of me started talking about arguments between different posters on TBC. If you guys are on here PM me!
Also at the family day, I was chatting to Joey Anderson in the middle of the oval telling him I played footy against his grandfather, when I was tapped on the back by a guy who used to be a goal umpire in Darwin. One of only two umpires that I ever got along with. Hi Peter!
And Mrs NTB and our son met tommi at a Rubber Soul gig while I was in the Avenue hospital recovering from hip replacement surgery. Hi tommi!
