Marchbank, after 1-2 weeks, then will break through.

The Facebook photo of C.Curnow and SPS had me excited. They could be our future matchwinning utility and midfield pair like Bontempelli and Tom Liberatore. SPS could be Kade's replacement and heir apparent as an undersized mid who punches above his weight. Curnow should be Walker's number one concern as a development coach. Potentially a harder match up than Walker who was an inconsistent mark compared to Charlie.

Hey let's be radical and extend it to 30 and under:

http://www.blueseum.org/2017+Playing+List

- Boekhorst (18)
- Byrne (12).... expectations modest after a serious injury, at least for 2017
- Cunnnningham (3).... yr 2
- CCurnow (6).... yr 2
- Orange (26)
- Graham (28).... yr 5
- Jaksch (14)
- Marchbank (7)
- Phillips (30).... too old to improve much?
- JOSOS (8)... yr 2
- Sumner (28)
- Weitering (20)... yr 2
- Sheehan (4)

Plus the new draftees and Pickett, noting he hasn't debuted for GWS yet

So there's some upside here.

The 2016 flock really do stand out though. Besides that I'm hoping for 20 games from Sumner.

I would leave out Orange, Graham and maybe Jacksh and include McKay who also has not yet debuted. Things are on the up.

For those with spare time the 0-30 list for season 2018 is:

Boekhorst - 25
Byrne - 15
Cuningham - 11
Charlie - 27
Fisher - 17
Kennedy - 19
Kerr - Zip
Macreadie - 8
Marchy - 23
Harry - 2
Sammo- 20
Pickett - 10
Polson - 1
Willo - 15

Geesh there is some upside there

Samo is the one. With a full pre-season, a bit of extra size and an increased understanding of Boltons game style, his progression holds the most interested for me.
Considering his pre-season and preparation was so limited, his ability to immediately adapt to the pace was exceptional.
I'd love to see him come into the 2018 season with a few extra kilos of muscle and a strong endurance base.

Agreed totally on Samo.

He's going to blow people's minds when he gets a serious run at it but the less low hanging fruit for me is Pickett, Cunningham and Fisher.

And I didn't mention Charlie because, well because...no surprises what's coming there...

8-9 of those players are in our best 22. We need them all to take strides forward if we want to be competitive.

Not sure why but my speculative gut is telling me Polson and Kerr

Kerr is a natural fwd and a beautiful kick. Hope he can play half a dozen games next year and give us a glimpse of our next KPF in 2019-2020

Polson will be burning inside to prove he belongs. My mail was that he was quite angry at being dropped after 1 game and told BB all about it...smokey!!!

Fisher. He's come back to the club a fair bit more solid again (he put on a surprising amount during the season last year). Big call but for mine He's going to be a Sam Mitchell type... will open games up with clean possessions and play making.

To approach Sam Mitchell, he'd need to learn to kick on his right foot.

To get close to Sam Mitchell he will need to play 250 games at a very high level, play in 4 premierships, play on the edge and on the odd occasion become a sniper. I will be happy if he does this without using his right foot.
