When I looked at my family finances and realised that since cancelling out interest-only loan we're now paying about 60% of our take-home income on the mortgage, I half-seriously (well, quarter-seriously) suggested to my wife that I bet our life savings on Brisbane and take a big chunk out of the debt. Should have listened to my inner maniac.

It's actually not the kids playing poorly. It's the senior players not getting a touch, or turning it over when they do get it.

I have mentioned this several times on TC. The game plan doesn't stack up against a team that runs in waves from half back. We don't have one player who is prepared (or allowed?) to run the lines.

One instance has stayed with my - Fisher had clear access into the forward line and kicked a half arsed effort sideways that missed the target. WTF is that? We have a young guy making his debut and give him a chance with quick ball movement in. What is the plan? Do we have one?

Everyone just relax. We've had one blow out all year, against port. If it happens, again, so be it. It's expected look at how many 18, 19, 20 year olds we have.

We started similarly against North and bounced back and nearly won. Let's just see how they come out this quarter
