What I really love at the moment, is the amount of young talent we've got playing exciting footy at senior level: Cripps, Plowman, Marchbank, Weitering, Charlie, Williamson, SPS.

And then we've also got a stack of very promising young talent to look forward to making their way into the side: SOJ, Fisher, MacReadie, Pickett, Cuningham, Byrne and McKay.

Then there's others like Sumner, Jaksch, Polson, LeBois, Kerr and Glass-McCasker (and even Boekhorst) who've got some real talent.

I haven't been this excited about our list for 30 years. Another good year of trading/drafting and it could be a very exciting decade to follow.

Agree!!

For years it would have been only your 3rd line as our young talent now how good is it to look at the top 2 lines!!

Great list - I'm also REALLY hoping Ciaran Sheehan can get a run at it later this year

This really isn't related to List Management, more so development, but I am LOVING Andrew Walker in the development roll at the club.

Not that i have any knowledge of what's going on in the inside but just seeing him on interviews and on social media and stuff, he's really getting a connection with the kids. Love it.

Dale Thomas could stay at Carlton next year with Blues likely to undergo another list overhaul

DALE Thomas’ hopes of playing on next year have been boosted by the prospect of another list turnover as Carlton closes in on a pair of exciting contract extensions.

The Blues have earmarked Sam Petrevski-Seton and Charlie Curnow as priority signings and are making strong progress on securing the emerging stars.

Petrevski-Seton’s manager Jason Dover will meet Carlton list manager Steve Silvagni next week.

Like you....we are all seeing it with our own eyes on interviews and giving accolades...with our boys...his boys...Carlton Boys.

It can only be good.

Yup, I read that & my first thought was: "Ok, if it is in the newspaper it must be true... and legally binding!"

Caroline Wilson in The Age seems to think we could have almost 3 million dollars free in the Salary Cap next year.

I hope some of this is put aside for the following year, and the remainder is spread evenly towards a few players, not one, (including some already on our list but without renewed contract)...

You would think a well paid professional journo could get a simple fact right.

From the sound of it Casboult is not leaving and is happy to stay.
Good idea to lock up SPS and Curnow now, just a matter of working out how much they are worth.
Sign them up while we are winning in case they change their minds.
